A speaker reconsiders what masculine and feminine actually mean, moving past old ideas about gender roles. They explore how these energies show up in work and life, and why the usual framing misses something real.
I first met you, I was very in my masculine fight or flight. Like I was very much like just go harder, grind grit, figure it out. But when I was younger, feminine to me meant caretaking in a way that was people pleasing and putting myself out and almost a little bit of martyr. Right. That was my understanding. And then I probably went into a lot of the survival masculine and to your point, the whole feminism movement from decades before. While that's not what I align with I think that we're equal in our souls but men and women are masculine and feminine. They serve very different, different roles. I don't, yeah, I don't want to be the hunter. And now I think we're shifting and finding calibration balance in the duality because even as an entrepreneur and this is something that I ask myself questions a lot. Will a masculine understand that I don't actually want to run the show in my personal life? Right.
