Hey everyone, it's Mike Andes with landscapebusinesscourse.com and today you're going to get a little bit of behind the scenes from last weekend where we had about 14 franchisees here come into our local area and we did everything possible we could to set them up for success as they went back to their home and started their own Augusta Lawn Care franchise. So we did out in the field estimates, we did tours of our local shop and command center and and we also did a lot of in classroom training. So a couple minutes here. Just wanted to show you what you can expect when you come here for three solid days and learn how to become an Augusta Lawn Care franchisee.
I joined Augusta because the systems and everything in place that help establish a great business was really appealing to me. Coming from the oil and gas industry procedures and standard operating practices, I'm very familiar with it and it was very appealing to have that kind of going into it instead of going out on my own, making all the mistakes that a new business owner can make. Just opportunity to grow and help other people grow along with us and to build a team that changes the industry.
First of all, the Command center being out in the field, it's a big hassle to be having to get back to customers and take up phone calls. You got that taken care of with Command Center. With Augusta you get the framework of how to grow things and I'm really ambitious and planning to take advantage of that.
I joined Augusta for the systems. I was very successful in my tree business and drainage business, but I can only get to a certain level with Augusta. I feel I can take that business beyond what I want to do.
