Yes. We're building a wall and it's going to.
It's Sam.
Alright. So we're at the shop and we got a little situation. We're in the small trailer right now. I just put up that rack there or moved, I should say. We got a little situation here and that is that the battery inside of here is dead. This is the battery terminal. Usually this opens up and then you can charge the battery because this morning it was dead. So it's been so cold. And we try to start all our equipment every week, even during the winter. But this usually has a wing nut on it. However, we haven't opened up for like two years. So the three threads of this bolt are rusted so much onto this.
So I just got off the phone with James. James is a course member@landscapebusinesscourse.com and he had a very interesting marketing thing that he's doing this year. I'm going to talk a little bit more about it in the podcast. What he's doing is he has been given the opportunity by a bank, his local bank, to set up a little stand in their lobby that kind of highlights his business. So he's gonna, they're actually gonna allow him to bring a mower inside for the entire month of February and set up his little booth there and talk about or show what his business does and how he can be of service to the community. He's gonna do like a drawing, get people's contact information, follow up with them relentlessly. And we're gonna. It's gonna be interesting. It's gonna be interesting to see if that works for him. So it's a good start. You can see here, we put up the boards finally and we got on a jack there so that we can tackle there. As you can see up top there. 8:07. Got a little problem.
Something started happening this morning, literally five o' clock this morning. Went to the gym after doing some work and stuff. Seven o', clock, leave the gym, nothing on the ground and now it is coming down.
Like crazy. So switching out the rear wheel drive. Little 4x4 action right here. Going to Sierra.
I got a 9 o' clock appointment in Bellingham. Hopefully I can get there in time. And what I'm worried about right now is I got a 10:15 podcast interview with the founder of Larabar. I think I'm gonna be late. It's snowing in February here. I want it to be spring. So the grass grows and it's got a snow. Look at this. It is 9:52. Making it back for the 10 o' clock interview and the podcast. If you want to check it out, make sure you check out Business Boot Camp podcast and interview with Lair American. That meeting I had, that I had mentioned I was going to at 9 o', clock, really, really good. It's actually the largest property management company in our county, pretty much north of Seattle, and they want to essentially give us all of their business. They really are looking for a partner. Instead of having like net right now they have like six vendors, one of which we are right now currently. But they're really looking for someone to do everything. And so that alone it's, you know, obviously a huge.
A huge commitment. And so it's gonna be interesting. That alone would be 30, 40% growth in 2017 for our business. So it's interesting, as you continue your journey in your business, these opportunities pop up. And so I'll keep you updated on that one. And so now onto the interview. Make sure you check it out.
