When you're out in the wild, when you're out lost, you need a compass. You need something to look at and have some sort of truth as to why you can keep walking. Because when all the trees look the same, when all the rocks look the same, I need to look at something and have surety and confidence that this will not change. And to me, inside of our businesses, that is the vision. That is the vision statement is, why are we doing this and where are we trying to go? Because if we don't have clarity and the compass is wrong, what, we will take action, but we will burn out. We will exhaust all of our resources, all of our time and all of our relationships going after something without any final destination.
