All right, folks, we are here at Dick's Sporting Goods because in the words of Chris Bumstead.
Oh, we're supposed to walk after we eat. So that's our new thing.
We're taking a digestion walk through the mall.
Yeah, because it's cold and it's dark, and there's nowhere else to walk besides the mall. And we live right across the creek.
We may as well. Oh, we're taking a turn, folks. Do you want anything from here?
Do I what?
Do you want anything from here?
No, we're just walking.
We're just walking, folks.
They sell workout equipment.
You get 389, but then you gotta pay, like, a gajillion dollars for the rat.
For the plates. The plates are insane. 45 pounds is 84 bucks. What's wrong with peloton?
They're overpriced and their stock is in the toilet.
This guy keeps up with stocks. I'll touch on it later. But we're looking into getting treadmills and stair steppers. They have a Nordic Track. We're looking into getting a Nordic Track. How much is it? This is cheaper than on Facebook.
On Facebook, it was way more. Was 3200.
It's on sale right now.
This is sick. Damn. Look at this. This goes up to 40% incline.
That's a massive screen.
And what's cool about this one is you can connect it to your device and play yourself directly to it. This is $200 cheaper than they had it on Facebook ads.
Are we about to make a purchase?
No, we're gonna look at it. I said I need a safety key. Banner. There's a camera. They're looking at me. We need to ask for assistance. All right, we're asking for assistance. All I know is this is a good deal.
That's a sick treadmill. Not gonna lie. It's pretty tall.
Our ceilings are 10ft. This is sick.
I wonder if you can connect your phone to it. We might just be walking out of here with the treadmill, folks. Or we were going to get a treadmill from Life Fitness and a StairMaster from Precor. We're still working on Precor, but they don't deliver to residents, and so we'd have to get it delivered to Mike's Gym, and then we have to bring it to our apartment and get TaskRabbit to assemble it. But if we can just get it straight from here, at least the treadmill part. Did you see Stairmasters over there?
No Stairmasters, but if we can get the treadmill part figured Out. That'd be legit.
Yeah, of course. I have if you want to go with it.
Awesome. Thank you so much. We really wanted Life Fitness or Precor. That's the truth. But they have to get delivered to the gym, otherwise they're twice as expensive. So we try to use the preferred vendor thing for Anytime Fitness. So pretty good deal.
Yeah. Still more expensive than this one.
A lot more than this one.
Like double the price.
Yeah.
Those are so ugly. That's like the lint from the cart. Like, you know, the no slip material, but under rugs. That's what it looks like. It looks like pocket linted. It's crazy. I didn't know they were getting into the weight again. These are so tiny. Look at the 2.5. Look at that. Yeah, 2.5. Is that 1.25?
Yeah.
All right.
What if all you had to do was hit?
Okay, I was thinking it, but I didn't even tell her to think. I want to leave that guy. Why don't you let me tell you how to do so? Thank you so much.
Just one link.
Yeah.
Sorry about that late. No problem. It goes all the way up to 40.
I'm going to go for 40.
That's crazy.
Incline all your streaming apps, you are Netflix, YouTube.
Are you serious? As a fan. Rest of your day because you have earned it. Well done. But most of our treadmills have lifetime warranty keys on the battery and the motor at least, so that's more than likely the case with Motortrack.
Okay, what's exactly the difference between the service and the maintenance? Is it just the install?
Yeah, basically just the install. And then personal, like, electronics breakdown. Anything internal. Our plan just covers anything external, basically.
All right, awesome. Well, we might come back tonight then. We'll be back here in a little bit. Okay, so here's the deal. If you get.
A commercial Life Fitness treadmill and you had it delivered to your house, you're looking at all in, like, $11,000. We got the quote, got the receipts, folks. Now, Anytime Fitness, we're able to get it for like, 4,500 plus tax, but then we have to get it assembled and it has to get delivered to the gym, to our house, and have it set up. So let's just say we have to pay someone $500,000 to, like, deliver it, ship it all night. Okay. By the way, this is, like the most dead mall in the world. Okay, so that's like 50. Let's just call it $5,000. This one is $3,000. Is that a lot of for a treadmill. Yes. However, it goes to 40% incline. Talk about the turn.
We won't even have to go hike Oyster Dome because.
No, that's not true.
There's no one here. Like, this is the most putt putt banner.
When did they put mini loaf in here?
They put the most random stuff in here. We'll come back here. We're coming back here. So that is the current analysis is are we gonna buy a NordicTrack from Dick's Sporting Goods? They also for $300, it comes with a year of warranty and installation included in our room banna. Now, the thing is that we're not getting a life fitness or like a precor or like a commercial. Technically, that is not a commercial machine. Again, most random thing in the place. Like this used to be Abercrombie and Fitch. No longer there. We have a rock and gem club. We have this random thing that is like nothingness. Like, this is the most random mall in the world. It's dead because the Canadian dollar is not as strong. And so the Canadians basically kept this place alive and well. And now as dead as a door now. So now we're going to check out the putt putt place because we gotta get steps.
Do you think that we're gonna get this treadmill by the end of the night? I don't know.
I don't know. I'll have to talk about my wife.
Okay.
Yeah, I have to go.
What do you think she'll say?
I don't know. It's really up to her, honestly.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
Balls in her park.
Love my husband.
Oh, we came in here planning to not spend a single dollar.
Do you want anything from here?
No, we're just walking. We buy treadmill and now we just got to get a good StairMaster.
How long will it take to get here?
Two, two to four weeks. Plenty of time to move out my desk.
One of the very many things that I love about Mike is whenever he gets his mind to something, he is going to do it. So on Sunday, he came up with the idea that he figured he may as well just move his home office to the new office, which is pretty close to our house now. It's gonna be closer than where the current office is now. He was like, I only need to use my office maybe once or twice a month to film a video that he hadn't already filmed during the week. So he was like, why don't we just move my office to the new office? Move my home office to the new office. And change this room into a home gym. That was on Sunday. And on Monday night we were in Dick's Sporting Goods signing for a treadmill. I'm actually really stoked to try that one. I didn't even walk on it. But Mike really liked how it had like a 40 incline, which is insane. I didn't even know that was possible for treadmills. Usually normal commercial treadmills you find at the gym only go up to 15 incline. If it's a 40 degree incline, you just need 5 more degrees and you're basically doing stairs. So that thing is steep. Anyways, so then yesterday I spent some of the day just prepping this room for us to move everything out. I packed up his desk, put some things in bags, like all the lights that need to go into our car. And then just like I try to keep everything together. So his soundboard and everything that was connected to it in that bag. Miscellaneous stuff in that box and tripods or a camcorder and all the cords for that in there. So, of course, you know, I had to ask ChatGPT. By the way, Mike got me on this, this book that we're both listening to. It's called the Art of Spending Money. I have three hours and six minutes left. Highly recommend. It's a really good listen. So I asked ChatGPT. I like explaining ChatGPT what I kind of want this room to look like and to create an image for that. It didn't get the cardio machines right. Like, yes, we have a treadmill, but we're have a Stairmaster, not that thing seated bike or whatever that is. But at first I was like, okay, maybe I want floor length curtains. And like, I wanted to kind of black out this wall. I was thinking about maybe putting black wallpaper on that wall and having three of those mirrors right there. Just like boom, boom, boom. And it would look really cool and vibey. But now that I have that curtain off, it's so much brighter in here, which I love. I kind of want to keep this room bright. I don't know. I don't know. Honestly, guys, a black and green vibe in here would be so cool. Like one or two more plants, one black wall, a lamp in the corner, which is already there, but I don't even know if I want to keep this one. We're going to be getting the treadmill on November 6, which is like one more week, and then we're working on getting the StairMaster. That's a whole other story, a whole other longer process that'll probably take another month or so. And honestly, the StairMaster is one that I'm looking forward to the most. But anyways, I'm so excited we're going to move everything out of here this weekend into the new office because Saturday is when we have the keys for it and. And the Internet guys come and get it set up. The media team and copilot is able to start there sooner, and then once things at command center slow down, they're gonna get to move in December. Because Mike was listening to this book, the Art of spending Money. This. This actually kind of goes hand in hand. That book is actually what started it all because he was like, if we can take away the need to get a house, which our need was really our want, I should say not need, was that we wanted a workout room very badly. He was like, if we can just make that here, we won't feel the need to move until, like, later next year. So probably still be in this apartment for another year. I'm totally fine with. I love this location. We love it here. Space is like one downside, but that's even. That's not a big deal. Like, it's just the two of us, and we fill it out pretty good, you know? So I'm excited. I'm so excited to get this thing all situated. Still trying to figure out what I want to do with it, but that is the update for now. All right, folks. I feel like I come to the grocery store at least once a day or every other day, but Mike requested to have some type of Indian dish, and I don't think I've ever made Indian. I've been on a Thai kick recently, so I have a recipe in mind and we at the store to pick up some things for that and some other miscellaneous items that we need to restock up on. So let's do.
Would be my luck that I grab a buggy that is acting weird kind of rattly, but I think the wheels are fine. Okay. We need sweet potatoes. Not for the Indian dish, but just in general. Sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes. The nice thing about having a loud buggy is that it's hopefully drowning out through the fact that I'm talking to myself to a camera. Perfect.
They're so tiny compared to Costco's.
I used to keep my grocery list in my notes, but it just got messy and it's just easier to check things off in the Reminder's app. So sweet potatoes are done. We just need a few more things. I really, really hope they have my favorite yogurt it's the phage 0% and they're almost always out because people buy it up. So I'm hoping they have it. They have it. You know, I'm stocking up on this. That was broken.
Especially because they're on sale. I got four.
Okay.
I need curry powder and chili powder.
Chili powder? Why is that so, so expensive? Oh, but it's buy two, get one free if I get the same brand.
Please tell me they have. No.
They do. Okay, okay, okay. If I can get one free, that's not bad. Cool. Chili and curry powder.
Then press.
Done.
I'm like nearly out of breath from bringing these things up three flights of stairs by myself. But going to do a quick haul. I'm going to spend speedrun this because I have an appointment soon and I need to have my post workout meal before that. So first we have. Okay, that grocery store had a million different options for olive oil and I just got the California extra virgin olive oil. I hope it doesn't taste too olivey, but I guess we'll find out. I just honestly grabbed whatever was cheaper and whatever was extra virgin and then coconut flour because a lot of keto dessert recipes that I've looked up requires that and I didn't have it until now. Now we have a head of cauliflower for the Indian dish. I'm making later. Bag of sweet potatoes to meal Prep for moi. 1, 2, 3, 4 containers of zero percent phage Greek yogurt. This is my favorite, if you couldn't tell already. And I have half a tub left in the fridge and I can't run out. You know, I'm actually about to make the yogurt bowl right now, so had to restock and they're almost always out because people be buying up my yogurt. So had to be prepared. They also had Lily's chocolate chips on sale and usually that stuff is a little bit expensive. So I got milk chocolate and, and white chocolate to make some chocolate chip. Maybe I should make that for my stay for dessert. I always try to have a keto dessert for him and so that would be a good, quick, easy one to do. I'm gonna make some keto naan bread to go with the Indian dish tonight. So it required some mozzarella cheese. And then last but not least, Hue chocolate. This stuff has really clean ingredients. It's made with organic grass fed milk and it's just a little sweet treat for whenever we're in the mood for it. You know, that is the haul. Gonna put this stuff away and Go to my hair appointment. My beautiful haul. Oh, and vinegar, by the way, I use this to wash fruit. If you don't wash fruit, you nasty. Wash your fruit in vinegar water, because just water doesn't cut it. So we have Indian curry. It's like beef stew or beef stew meat and cauliflower. Yes. It is keto, and then this is keto naan bread with garlic butter on top.
Garlic butter.
So live reaction. Live.
Which one first?
You can try the cure, the curry first and then try them both together. So I recommend, like, a piece of beef, a piece of cauliflower, and broth. All the flavors, you know.
Hopefully it wasn't.
Oh, my word.
Really?
You really gonna cry?
What part of the steak is that?
It's stew meat, so.
Oh, it's so good.
Really? I was hoping you'd like it all good, because at first it was so chewy, but the longer let it cook.
The better it's like. So then.
That makes me so happy. Yeah.
So that is made with mozzarella cheese, almond flour, and eggs. But, like, the vision is that you use that to scoop the curry. Do you all see why I like to cook?
Thank you. I like to cook for him because he reacts like this, and it's my.
Favorite moment of silence.
Oh, okay. While you do that, I also made the cookies I told you guys about earlier. Crazy good stuff. It is officially move out day. We have pretty much everything packed up that needs to go. I think we're taking that green thing, taking the desk, those signs, these bags. Mike already took some things down downstairs, and today is the day that the media team is basically completely moving into the office. Copilot is moving in midway next week. Then command center moves in in December. So very exciting. I don't think Mike himself is moving until after training because we're having new Augusta owner training next week. So once that is over, I think he's moving in the week after that. So very exciting changes. Let's go get everything moved. On a scale of one to ten, how excited are you right now?
Four and a half.
What do we start with? The desk.
So, like, morning.
Good morning. How are you? Good, good. So we'd almost need to come in and set up each cubicle as they should be. Have some guys put the desks in that we want in each room.
And then Lee and Eric, they can move over whenever they want.
This is his new office.
Want to give a little office tour?
Well, right now it's pretty bare, but this is going to be station number one, which would be for recording. So we got set up the camera and stuff. And this will be station two with my white desk from the office, where I could be on my treadmill walking. And I can be typing. I can be looking out the window.
Which you won't move that here until, what, two weeks from now?
Yeah, after training.
And then he'll have visiting chairs if you guys want to come visit him. He'll have chairs there for you. We need to lint roll them.
It is hot in here, I have to say. Yeah, no, it doesn't. That's crazy.
You should have gotten this one, baby.
What's this going to be for studio?
Oh, I see. Another man's trash is another man's problem. That was their mentality.
Why do you have those receipt printers?
What?
In the wrong way.
It's a lot of old equipment, too, not gonna lie.
A lot of stuff we need them to take out of here.
Oh, that's kind of cool. Cole's favorite thing, which is unpacking, repacking, unassembling, plugging back in. But we're getting somewhere.
Or try to push this one up.
Come be strong. Come be strong. It's not about strong.
It's physically not capable. It just needs to be flattered. But brute force could overcome it. Brute force could fix all of our problems. Just swap it out with this one. Okay.
They're connected. Where's Francis? When you get them right, Finishing touches. They left this light, which is so cool. You can even, like, turn it any way you want. That's pretty dope.
You know what I'm gonna like it for? It's. I can have all the lights off in the whole building and then just.
Turn that one on while I'm working. We had to take everything from our his home studio in here to have room for a home gym. That's right.
This is gonna be perfect. Literally perfect. Look at that. That's pretty cool.
It's not bad.
Not bad, not bad, not bad.
The staggered look is actually kind of cool.
Yeah, Dope banza. Okay, then pick here. We'll put the.
New book. You don't know what it's called.
That's right. Almost looked up. Where can they find out what the title is going to be and what the book looks like?
MyKades.com. black Friday. And everyone, if you show up from the vlog, I'll give you a gift for $597. Completely free. Completely free.
Sign up for the live stream. Sign up right now. Sign up. All right. Office studio still needs to be assembled, and I don't really know what's gonna go there, but in the media team section. Chaos. That's right. It is. Yeah. Slowly coming together. My desk is in the corner back there, and.
Storage unit or storage closet.
Well, I think we could always, like, really stylize the walls, too, so it's okay. And you got those lights that could be in the set, too, so that's helpful. Well, like, we can pretend like this is just gonna be a wall. Like, so. Like, of course. So this is all wall. That means that this whole thing is a corner set.
Are you excited about the new office?
So excited. Like a month and a half. Like, two months, and then I'll feel like we'll work that one.
That U Haul was packed full, and it was just the media team stuff.
But we find, like, next week will be copilot. They're probably about, like, half the amount of stuff, so. And then, like, home service EPA will move over and then command center, so it'll be fine.
Ending the vlog in. Not our usual coffee shop, but still in a coffee shop nonetheless. We're gonna work here for a little bit and go to our favorite Thai place after this. I'm so excited. Do you have any closing thoughts?
I said it too.
Bye. Bye.
