Hey everyone, it's Mike Andes. And today I'm gonna do something a little different. I don't even know if there's any interest in this, but there is. We will find out. And that is if you would like me to analyze your 2021 financial statements or your website. That's what I want to be here doing it today. So if you want to submit your financials for 2021, you can go, just email me. Just email landscapebusinesscoursemail.com or, or you could also, if you would like me to check out your website, just comment in the description. So let me go ahead and make sure everything is turned on here. We are live on YouTube and Facebook. So again, if you would like me to take a look at your website or take a look at your financials, that's what I want to do over the next 20, 30 minutes. If there's anyone that would like that. So let me just make sure. Okay, cool. All right, let me just go here. Email is landscape.
Landscape.
Business course gmail.com you can email. Just email me a PDF of your 2021 financial statements or you can also comment your website. Just put your URL in there and I will analyze the pros, the cons, what your website is good at and what it is potentially needs some work on and, and not, not really to do anything besides just help the community all learn together what we can do to improve our web design and our conversions on our website as well as hopefully if someone has the guts to. I know it's not easy to share your financials publicly, but if you are able to or want to share your financials with me, you can also do that. Just email them to me. You'd also just post a drive link, send me a drive link and I can do that. I'm only gonna do it here in the next little bit though. So if you are listening to this and you would like me to analyze your financials from a high level, feel free to email me landscapebusinesscoursemail.com Just a PDF of your 2021 financial statements. Just your P and L is fine and we can learn together. If you do not want to do that, I'd at least like to look at your website. So just in the comments, put in your URL for your specific website and I can kind of do a diagnosis of SEO web design and hopefully give you some pointers to convert more leads. So I know there's a whole bunch of people in here. Welcome Josh Clarington Lawn and Snow Gerhardt thanks all for hopping on here, but again, if you're just joining, today is going to be dedicated. I don't even know if anyone will do this, but if you were willing to submit your financials, just email me. Landscape businesscoursemail.com or you can also just comment here in the description or comment here in the video. Your URL for your website, either of those things I'm going to try to.
Hopefully every all learn from and I think it'll be helpful. So let's see here, see if there's anyone. No one's putting their URL yet. The URL is easy. You can just type your URL in. I will pull it up and we'll kind of do a bit of a deep dive on your site, see if there's things I think can be improved in terms of design as well as SEO. And it's what we do every day@lawn careweb design.com trying to improve all of our sites there for all of our clients. And then also if you would like to. Again, I know it's not easy, I know it's not. It's not fun to have your financials picked apart, but I think it's valuable and I think it is pretty helpful. All right, we got one person that submitted. They said.
I put mine in. Where'd you put yours? I don't know where you put.
No, we would share it here in Diffie. Okay. You have no website. Okay, that. Where did you put your website? I apologize. I do not see. Do you have a group number? I don't have a group number. No. Just email me if you want to email me your financials. You can, or you can just put in your URL in the comments here and I'll pick it up.
Yeah, it's fine. Cool. I know how this always works. Once I get one or two people in, then everyone wants to hop in. I'm only here for like 20, 30 minutes, so feel free to put your URL for your website in and we can kind of hopefully give you some suggestions. Or again, you can email me landscapebusinesscoursemail.com with your financials from last year and we'll see if we can't analyze some financial statements because there's some really cool things that you can do when you look at a financial statement in terms of certain ratios and things like that. Okay, I'm not seeing. What do you mean I put mine up. Am I not seeing people's comments? I'm not seeing anyone's URLs hopping in here.
Sure. I'm not. Maybe it's going like spam or something. Give me a second here. Potentially you go into spam for whatever reason. Let's see here. Held for review. See if things are going into my spam folder.
Okay, I don't think that's what's happening. I put it twice. I don't see any URLs. That is horrible. I can't see anybody's URLs. If you're putting your URL in the comments, I apologize. I can't see them. Check the first comment. I don't see anybody's URLs. I'm wondering if my streaming service is weeding out URLs. Oh, my goodness. See? Something's missing.
Oh, my word. That's. That's embarrassing. Everyone's putting their URLs and I'm not seeing them. Okay, one second. Let me pull up the actual YouTube link and see if I can't see what you guys are saying. Give me one second here.
Boom. No, I don't want that one. Back out of that.
Let's go here. Let me see if I can see on the actual live stream if I'm watching as a user. Give me a second here. View on copy. View on YouTube. All right, let me see if I can see your URLs here. Because I cannot see your URLs on my side of things.
Man. I am not seeing anyone's URLs.
Man.
Give me a second here.
Sorry, everybody. Give me a second.
Looks like YouTube is filtering out websites. It is. That's annoying.
Ah, see, all those ad blockers are keeping good people out. Okay, maybe try to do this. Type out. Type out your URL without the dot com and just put in the word yes. I'm not seeing anyone's URL, so YouTube must be blocking out all URLs right now in comments. That's annoying as I'll get out. Well, it's good, I guess. I guess it keeps spam bops, but, like, try. Here we go. This is good. Bloomington, mo and snow. Bloomington, mo and snow. Bloomington, snow and blow.
I must have spelled snow and bloat. I spelled that wrong.
Where did I go?
Bloomington, mo and snow. Snow, not blow. Okay, let's try this again. And snow. Okay, here we go.
No. Bloomington, snow and snow. And snow. Michael, learn how to type. It's okay now. Bloomington, mo and snow. Okay, all right, we're going to get this, folks. We are going to get this. Here we go. Bloomington, mo, and snow. Okay, Here we go. Let me pull this website up and I'm just going to do this live. Share, share screen again. If anyone has the guts to send in your financial statements, just email me, landscape businesscourse gmail.com and I'll be able to take a look at that live. And I think a lot of people will benefit from that. I know it's not fun or easy to do that, but. All right. Cool logo. I like this. Bloomington Mow and Snow shows the difference between mowing and a snow removal. Obviously, that would be the two big things that you are doing. I like how you are pulling in these reviews. It'd be cool if they're more recent. This is the most recent one. It's a few months old. This one from Google. I don't know if this is a plugin. I can actually see if it is. This is not a plugin. These are actual pictures. So you can get more recent ones. That'd be great.
This is optimized for mobile. I can tell just by seeing the way that this is all laid out. So I think it's good. I would say again, this picture up front here doesn't really bring any attention to your brand. Again, your brand is gonna be your trucks, your uniforms, and it's going to be your brand. This is. This could literally be a random house in the middle of a random area. There's really no rhyme or reason as to your company. Bloomington, Mo and Snow. That's the number one thing I see on these sites is, you know, this other thing I could talk about here. But the biggest thing is your pictures and your video needs to be about your brand. And your brand is actually, most of the time, your trucks and your uniform. And so other random pictures like this, it might be a great mowing picture. It might have great stripes. Might be a really cool aerial shot from a drone. It doesn't matter. You want this. Talking about your brand. Not just a random company, random lawn. Again, I would try to be getting your phone number on here to where it's clickable, where people can see it right off the bat and click on your phone number. This is good. At least you're sharing what areas you service. But a clickable phone number would be really important here, right at the top. Now, I know there's a bunch of other people looking in here, so I'm going to go ahead and look at Timberwood Landscaping. Let's go ahead and pull that one up. Timberwood landscaping.com. all right, here we go. All right, so I'm doing This live. Let's go ahead and share this screen. Boom, boom, boom, boom. Lethbridge Lawn Care.
All right, Timberwood Landscaping. Some very cool pictures here. Cool. I see a blue shirt. I'm assuming that is the brand new booking lawn care. New booking. Now booking lawn care services and landscaping projects for the 2022 season. Very cool. I like to see blue. That is the color that I am assuming is the brand. So all these other pictures are just random pictures. Again, I'd be trying to get that. Blue uniforms, trucks, anything that is part of the brand, that's what you want to be highlighting. That's all very good. Looks really mobile friendly. I like the animations. That's very cool. Get your weekends back. I think this is an overused phrase, but honestly, it's only because we know it in our industry. For the customer, they probably. This is probably actually like, you know, good stuff for them. It's just very common in our. In our. Okay, I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess. This is a landscape, a lawn care web design company. Just from a lot of these different things like the floating header, the different icons, the way that these flew in. These are all things that we really obsess over. There's the accessibility unit over here where you can be compliant as well as see. Yeah, this is definitely a lawn care web design company. I'm just guessing. I don't know all of them. But just from the way this is laid out, I don't have a whole lot of things to say other than the fact that there it would be nice to have a button here to call or somewhere where the phone number is clickable unless you don't want people to call. So the caveat to all of what I just said in the last one too is the fact if you don't want people to be calling in and you want them to only go through your website, which is understandable if you want to reduce the amount of calls coming in, then that'd be the only thing I would add here. But I'm going to go on a limb and just guess that this is a lawn care web design company.
But I would say from a design perspective, the pictures and video needs to highlight the brand, which is those blue uniforms. That is the brand of this company. Okay, let's go here. Next one up is Silva's Landscaping. Let's see here. Silva's land. Wait, is it silver? Silva's. Silva's Landscape dot com. All right. Oh, cool. So this is a video in the background. Okay. Again, I'm gonna guess this is a lawn care web design company just because I can tell we do a good job. And I know when I see a good job videos on point, it's optimized because it didn't take long to load.
And yeah, the way we do these cutouts is kind of something we specialize in. And I know that. So even though I don't do these designs and, and there's a hunt, we have over 180 sites, 190 sites that we manage now. So I don't remember. Yeah, this is our site. So you guys are putting in sites from lawn careweb design.com which is great. But I can tell a lot of our different design stuff that we really are fanatical about. And all of this stuff is in here. This Excel accessibility part is important again for older clients, people that are potentially hard to see things, etc. Especially if you're a really big company, this is something you actually need to be worried about. People can actually now there's, there's, there's lawsuits that have gone through where people have, have sued because there's not accessibility on people's websites. So again, my big thing is just always about the brand. Right. So I think the brand right from the get is, you know, obviously the logo is something we can highlight this green, white and you know, black kind of color which we try to highlight in the site itself, which looks really good. But again the pictures and video, we really want to highlight that the brand and that is not a walker mower, not stripes. It should be the brand which is your trucks and your uniform. That's what I want to see inside the, of these, these pictures and video. I actually, by looks of it, you have actually light blue shirts. Yeah, you do. You have these light blue shirts with the green logo. So again I would be trying to highlight that as much as possible in the video which you do pretty good job in there. But even these pictures, like down here, there's a lot of text right here. There's a lot of text to be on your homepage. Like the about part. I would probably throw that on a different page and then make this more picture of video driven. Like there's a lot of text for your homepage. I'd be trying to make that more picture driven. I love the video in the background though. Always get kudos points and we always try to push lawn Care web design client towards that Clarington Lawn and Snow clarington lawn and snow.com and check my email real quick, see if there's anyone? No one yet has volunteered their financial statement. If you would like me to analyze your financials from 2021, just send your P&L to landscape businesscourse gmail.com and I'll do it live. All right. Clarentine Lawn and Snow. This site uses your cookies. Okay, thank you. We are using cookies. Chocolate chip cookies. Okay. So I like the fact that I see your truck with your logo. That's cool. Looks like it's lawn and snow. Obviously, that's where this is green and the snow. So this is like a slideshow here. I like that. These are real photos. That's kind of cool. This one here, for example. I would prefer this being with your logo in it. Like, I'd rather have that one because it has your logo in it than this one, which has just stripes with a hydrant. And that one, which is a random lawn. That one is like an advertisement for John Deere. So these are the ones I want you to focus on. What is your brand? What makes you different? Okay. This is probably built on something like squarespace or Weebly, based on how I'm seeing this is what's called a carousel. And. And then just some text down here at the bottom. I think the first thing I'm looking at is I want to know where you're at. I'm guessing Clarington is the name of the city you're in, but I do not know. Let's click about us. A Clarington Lawn and snows community of OSHA and Clarington. Okay, cool. So is Clarington. Very cool. There's a picture of you guys that would be like the best photo in the entire website right there. That should be on the front. Especially if you're really pushing that home town kind of feel to it. That would be like my main picture up front here. So that is good right here. I wouldn't mind if this was bolded and maybe put above here when customers come here so they know immediately like this, this is for them. This is for their area. You serve their area. Would be very helpful to put that up top here, like the areas you serve. And then again, a clickable phone number is. I just like that. I like it a lot. I like the fact that your header is floating. That's very helpful, especially if you have longer pages, which you don't. But having these. This page, this top bar float is helpful. It allows people to not go backwards and not click the back button, but rather go forward into the website and further deeper into different pages. All right. See if there's others. Oh, there's a whole bunch. Mercy. Give me a second here. Let's see.
Where else can we get some? It's. Here we go. Pal Sus. Pal Sus. Let's pal sus.palsus.com hopefully this is not a virus. Kind of feels like it. It is. Whoa. Oh no. We don't want to go there. Okay. All right, let's see. Raising blades. SOD. Raising blades. SOD raising blades.
There's two S's there. There is raising bladessod.com.
Okay, so this looks like a sod farm where quality meets installation. Okay. Maybe it's. It's sod install. Okay. There's a whole bunch of areas. Oklahoma. Okay. Especially in install delivery and all sod sales. Oh, excuse. This is cool. So do all sales and installation. That's pretty cool. I like that. Very nice. Okay, so this background picture, this is a very old site. This is built on old code, probably HTML. The reason like this, this background big photo will kill your speed of load. And then see here, like for example, right here, I'm now. I've now lost my header inside of my text. Because your header needs to have like a white bar behind it that floats. Because right, right there. Now I can't even see my header. And then furthermore, look what happens when I have this red text against this background picture. I cannot read whatever this text is right here. If I, if I do this, I might be able to see it. You are not required to measure. Call us for your free estimate and we will measure for you at no cost. So that's very hard to read because that background picture. Alright, so these big, big background pictures will slow your site down quite a bit. Okay. And it's hard to read up against like I can't even read this. So that's why you're having to do this white background here. So I would prefer that you either a have a white background behind the middle two thirds and then your text on that or just move this picture into a header image like to show basically what you can see here. I don't think you need to see it the rest of the way throughout the whole website. It just distracts from the text. It distracts from the other pictures which I really like it kind of the layout it is. So this is probably. It looks like a pretty big company. I would invest a little bit more into your web design. Right. If you're just getting started, that'd be one thing. But I can see this is a pretty large established company. You got Massive trucks and a big operation here. I would definitely recommend putting a little more into your web design because you could probably really highlight this fact right here, like how to measure and stuff. You'd be able to really pull this out. Probably get a plugin into like Google Maps. You can to help people measure their properties or you do it for them or something cool like that. But this is old, old way of doing things. That is a background image. There's a massive, massive slowdown to your site because it's such a big image that has to be loaded by Google every time. So big pictures like this really will slow you down. All right, let's go ahead and go to the next one. I think I'm missing a bunch. Okay. Blessing Property Maintenance. Blessing. Blessing Property Maintenance. If you guys have questions, you can check out lawn carewebdesign.com we do sites there. But again, I don't recommend anyone do it when they're first getting started. Only use lawn carewebdesign.com if you're trying to do over 200,000 in annual revenue. If you're trying to do less than that and you're just being solo, you really don't need long. Careweb design.com Something simple on Weebly or Squarespace is just fine. It seems like that's kind of that sort of site and that is a smaller one powered by Yardbook. So Yardbook will make these sites. These are not going to rank very well typically because they just are not optimized for SEO and they're basically built really quickly by Yardbook in a really simple manner. So it's great. It has. It's better than nothing. But again, there is no brand. Right. And again, this is done probably automatically by Yardbook using like your logo. I would try to make that logo a PNG file with a transparent background. So that way at least it wouldn't just be a white cutout. But furthermore, like, no one can hardly even see that phone number there. I would just make it Blessing Property Maintenance. I'd take out the phone number out of your logo because your phone number is right here. Unfortunately, this is not clickable. If you can make that clickable, that'd be cool.
And then this, of course, takes you right into the Yard Book infrastructure as soon as you click that, which is fine. But again, this is just going to be a good entry level. It's like a business card online. That's what it is. Right. It's not going to rank well. Super, like number one on Google. It's not Going to be super loading fast. It's not gonna have a good video in the background. But this is better than nothing. And if you're using Yardbook, I really do like the feature that they allow you to just build a site. Basically I think it's for free or very low cost to get started with this website design. It's better than nothing. And if you don't have anything, I'd rather you have this. So this will get you to 100,000 revenue annual revenue easily. You don't need a big fancy website. You have don't. You don't need to pay lawn care web design or any developer. The reason we did long care web design is because like people will pay 5, $10,000 to get their site built and then they'll pay a couple hundred bucks a month to get it either optimized or even just make changes once in a while. To pay a couple thousand dollars every year to get it fixed and improved or changed or videos changed and text changed or service pages changes. And that's why longer web design is great because there's no extra fees. It's just a flat monthly cost to. To get things. Unlimited changes. Bjorn, Bjorns, Moe and Snow. Bjorns, bjorns, mo and snow.com.
All right, this is a form. I can tell that because of that I'm going to assume this is a. Yeah, this is cool. I like the yellow. The yellow is obviously the.
The brand, something's. Oh, I see. This form needs to be reformatted because it's going up into the text or the bar here. So if you can make that where. Because I can't even see this part over here until I scroll over it. This is probably because of the mobile version. But whoever your web developers, they need to make a. You gotta really make two different sites. One for mobile, one for desktop. I like the background video. I really, really do. It's optimized. Well, it shows your yellow uniforms. Great. Just overall, yeah, I love it. I really do. But this form is really clinky. Clink. Whatever. Clanky, clinky. I don't even know if I can click on it. Let me like I'm trying to click on this. I can't click on it because it's behind this bar. So I can click on address but I can't actually click on anything above. Like I can't click up here. Let me refresh the page. Me. It's just my browser. Yeah, no, see, I can't even click on the name up here. This needs to be reformatted so this is obviously a form, and I could probably see. Let me see. I bet it integrates with something like service autopilot, but.
But yeah, I can't even click on the first name and the email part because all behind these. So, again, look at your website every few. Few days or weeks or even a month or two, and take a look at it. Like, these are the type of things that for all you know, there's dozens of customers, and guess what? They're going to get here. And like, oh, man, I can't submit my information. Okay, next. And so that's how fast they're moving. Right. And furthermore, if you're gonna have a video, all this text in front of it really takes away from the video. I would take this and I'd put it down, like, right here. You can make it more horizontal and allow this video to really shine, which you put a lot of effort into and I think really shows your brand. Well.
Hey, someone just gave me $10. Whoa. Okay, well, we've got to do theirs because there's a whole bunch coming in. P Landscapes, ohio. P landscapes, ohio.com. all right, let's see here.
Taking a while to load.
Very slow. Could be my Internet. Nope, it's that background image happens. This background image is slowing your site down massively. Massively. All right, if I click on this, let's see what happens. Okay, cool. So this background image doesn't really add much to your site. This bad boy is your brand. That is your brand right there. This little doggy guy, I like him. Whoever that is. Good for him. Let's go.
Yeah, I like this. This is good. Yeah, the background image gotta change. That's my big takeaway on this one. I like the design here. I really do. This is all really nice design. I like it a lot. Call now. Why choose us? This is great. I love this bad boy. This should be your theme right here. The dog, the brown, the light green, and the yellow. That's your palette. And I think you could probably improve this font and tie it more into what your font is on your. On your logo.
Okay. Again, pictures. Your work gallery. That's fine. That's great. Okay. But you don't have your brand in there. There's nothing that. That screams to me. Like, red flags is when people just throw random pictures of houses and properties. Like, for all you know, this is just stuff you stole off of Google. Now, I don't think you do that. I trust you a lot, but customers aren't. They're very skeptical. Also, I'm not a huge fan of putting two different phone numbers. Why would you put two phone numbers? It's more confusing for the customer. Like, why would you put a 4, 4, 0 number and a 3, 3, 0, number? Just put one and set up on the back end how it's routed. So if you want one to be sales, one to be service, like customer service, or want to be landscape division, want to be long, just set that up in the background with routing. Try not to use two different phone numbers. It's very confusing for customers. All right, like, why is there. What's the delineation here? So they just gonna flip a coin? Is it just, you know, which one they sneeze on and tap? Like, that's what I would recommend. I don't mean to be hard on any of these. I appreciate people just being willing to share these. I think we all can learn. But I would definitely lean into the logo, the font and the color scheme of the logo. I would nix. This background image is slowing your site down massively. But the overall design I really do like. I just want to see more of your brand, more of your stuff. Like this, for example, guarantee that is not yours. Okay, I'm going to guess this is not you. And so stock images are. I'd much rather you have a amateur photo of your crew and your uniforms and your trucks than just a stock image off. Off of Google. And if they. If you do that on one image on your whole site, they. They're going to assume other. Other ones are like that too. So I'm not a huge super against. Like, this is really almost like an icon showing what it is doing. So I'm not super against that. But the more you can show your brand, the better. And this is the biggest brand I see. This is better be on your trucks. Better be on your uniforms. That is the brand.
Well, we got $5. Making YouTube millions. Okay. Durain's Landscaping, Woodridge, Illinois. Okay, let's see here. Duranes. I'm guessing Dewrains Landscaping, Illinois. Let's see if we can't find this bad boy right here. Duran Duraneski landscaping.com. whoa, big picture. Okay, again, I'd rather see some brand. I'd rather see some uniforms. I'd rather see some trucks here. I should be. It should just be screaming. This is very, very generic. I could throw on any person's. Any. Any logo in the entire universe for lawn care, landscaping, right in this left hand corner. And it would work for any of us. Like, literally. Let's scroll through this. Let Me just make. Check my words here. Check my words, Check my words. Check my words. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, okay. So literally I could put any logo in the top left hand corner here. There's no city names, there's no phone number with an area code. There's nothing telling me where this is even at. I know it's Illinois because someone commented it, but I have no idea. Otherwise, it's not anywhere on the site. It doesn't scream anything. This is generic. This is literally could be a generic template that is given to any landscaper and longer company for $20. And that's the type of things that people are buying. Like, oh, I will build you a site for a thousand dollars and that's all you'll ever have to do. Yeah. And you're gonna get a site like this. And I'm not bashing the site. I'm just saying this is a great starting point. But you want to develop the brand. And if this is your logo and you've leaned into that on your trucks, in your uniform, try to put that in pictures, not just a random side house of side of a house. Like, is this a construction company? Is a rock company? Is a wall building company. Like in a matter of seconds, you want to convey your brand to the customer. What makes you different? Like it literally. This is a great example. Throw any logo in that top left hand corner and could basically be any lawn care landscaping site. So just lean into your brand. What is your brand? What makes you different than every other landscaping company in your area that could just slap on their logo onto this bad bo and that would be it.
Built my my website through Google sites. The estimate link just goes to Yardbook. Yep. Oh, cool. You use Google sites. Got it. Okay, very nice.
See here, there's other ones I skipped over. Give me a second here.
Benson Lawns. Hey, how did he post a URL no one else can? Bensonlawns.com. okay, so in case you didn't have just hopped on for some reason, Google is taking out most everyone's URL and I cannot see you in the comments. So you just post your everything but the dot com and I should be able to see it. Okay, let's see what we got going on here. All right, so Benson Landscaping and lawn Mains. I'm assuming Benson is the name of their city. That's cool.
I like the fact that I'm seeing a video. This could be a better quality video in terms of resolution. There's ways to reduce the resolution without reducing the quality. And so it still loads well. I like the video. I always give higher kudo points to people who figure out background videos because not easy. All right, great. So we got yellow shirts, green. Benson. Very cool. This is the logo. Oh, it tracks my. That's kind of cool. Oh, man. I'm trying to think on the back end how in the CSS you did this. So this logo in the background tracks my cursor. That's kind of cool. I love the fact that you're showing your crew. Some closer ups of them would be great just showing, like, that Benson part on their shirt. But I like the fact that you show your crew. That's great. I like that a lot. Love this. Again, you're using the same pictures, which would be more ideal if you use some different ones. But hey, I like the fact that you're using your logo and your brand is throughout. So better than better than nothing. So I think this one's good. I think the thing I would say on this one is.
I like it. You know, I like this one. I think, like, this could be clickable. That'd be nice. I don't think pushing someone off to your Facebook or Google page, especially not your Google page. Let's click on this, see where this goes. Okay. It takes your Google my business page. Okay.
I would definitely not give this real estate to pushing someone off of your website. If someone goes to your website and the first thing they do is jump to Facebook, Google's not going to like it. I want them to stay on my website. I want them to ultimately ask for an estimate. Ultimately, though, like, I think this one's pretty good. This is a nice middle of the road. Someone's built them. Built this themselves or potentially got a little bit of help doing this one. There's a nice middle of the road company in terms of what they invested on. On the design side of things. I would say, though, if you can this float, that's good. Good, good, good. I'm glad that top toolbar does float. That's good. Benson. I'd like to see the state name if possible, but it's not a big deal because it's called Benson Lawn. So you're. Okay. Okay, cool. No, I like this one. This one. This one gets a pass. This one's good. I like it. This is a good one for people to emulate. Again, the background video. You can definitely increase the resolution a little bit better and without slowing your site down too much. So. But overall, very good. Very good is why we do these, these videos so people can learn. Garcia Garcia's lm. Garcia's. Garcia's lm LM dot com. Okay. Whoa. No, different one. Garcia's an S.
Okay. Garcia's Landscape Maintenance. Ooh, that is some cool Photoshop. Let's go. High quality professional lawn maintenance. Landscape maintenance. Okay, let's go click through this thing. Okay. This is a lot of stock. Now. This is not stock right here. That is not stock. That's your, your truck. I would like to see that big. Not this. What is that? A flower leaf? Something. The more of your brand you can show, the better. I know. It's like the theme of this whole, like, this is not going to sell you jobs.
It just won't show your brand. That's why people come to the site. Oh, this is cool. French drain. These are all clickable. Very good. I would blow up the size of these hexagons and show these pictures a little bit better. But other than that, that's a cool picture. Except it doesn't look real. Now, if this is your picture, you did some great lighting because there's a light hidden behind this pillar right here that is backlit up against this wall. And that is staged massively well. If you did that picture, good for you. I, I, as a customer, I'm going to put doubt that that is actually real, mostly due to the fact that that green and that fern has been highlighted. That is uplighted. That's Photoshop. So I don't think that's yours, but if it is, you did a fantastic job. This is in southwest Washington. Okay, cool. Oh, Oregon. Okay. Southwest Washington, but it's in Oregon. Okay, that's the design. Oh, cool. We got a web design company. Very nice. Okay, let's see here.
Yeah, I don't think this one's horrible. I don't think this is bad. This is in Portland. Out of Portland, Oregon. I would just say that your, your images again, you want to talk more about your brand, not so much about, you know, cool Photoshop pictures. Right. That's all I can really say on this one. Ideally, this button right here is clickable. Right now it's not. They'd have to copy and paste this on mobile. It might be clickable. Let me can see if this is mobile friendly.
See here. No, it's not clickable, at least for me on mobile side of things. So. Okay, cool. Overall pretty good though. I like it. More of this brand though. Oh, I see you've made part of your logo as the hummingbird. Okay, that's kind of cool. The fact that you have the Hummingbird makes more sense now, Right. Because that has something to actually do with your brand. But what I would recommend is make that part of your design. Right? Like, you have potentially a hummingbird coming up to these hexagons or something to tie in this hummingbird throughout. If you're not going to show your uniforms or your trucks or your logo throughout, so you're trying to bring this. This hexagonal kind of imagery into it. And what actually reminds me of is we did Spencer Lawn Care's website, this one right here, and we actually used some of kind of the same hexagonal stuff here for them because we pull the other logo, and then down here, we really pulled in the hexagonal stuff. That's great. But again, it's just a matter of does it tie into the brand? Right. So their main logo has a hexagon. So that's what we pulled in. So I would recommend if in your logo you have a hummingbird, use the hummingbird as much as you possibly can, because that is your brand. That is what makes you different.
Cool. All right.
Okay, this is the last one. Let's see if anyone submitted any financials. I don't think anyone has. Nope, no one has submitted their financials. So this is gonna be a website only. Ah, so disappointed. Okay, last one here. Della Dela Rosa Landscaping. Del. Del. Michael, you gotta learn how to spell Dela Rosa. Del Rosa Landscaping. Com. Boom. Okay, this is cool. Okay. I like this little. I think it's a flowery thing. It's pink. That pink. I think it's pink again. I'd like to see the brand here in these images. This top toolbar, it should float. So that way, as I scroll down, it stays on top here, and I can click it whenever instead of having to. I'm down here, I'm like, oh, I want to go to a different page. I've got to go all the way back to the top. Have this float as you go down. This is design stuff. I like the fact this is clickable. How I know that? See in the bottom left hand corner, when I scroll over this, I could click on this and try to make a call, right? So I know that on mobile, they can immediately tap it and go straight, straight to the page. You notice, by the way, I'm not even going to different service pages or pages outside the homepage because, like, 90% of your traffic doesn't. Most of your traffic just stays in your homepage. And most of those people don't even scroll beyond the fold, which is beyond this pot right here. So, again, that's why I just get very, very fanatical about your branding and what is seen above the fold right here, the landscape of your dreams. Okay, so I'd like to know where they service, what areas they service. Right up above the fold. That'd be good. I'd like to see an estimate request form if possible, so they don't have to leave this page to get a quote. So this is taking them over to Jobber in order to fill out this massive form. I'm not opposed to this if you are not in growth mode. If you're in growth mode, I'd rather this be a lot smaller and then be on your homepage. This is going to weed out 90%. Not 90%. 80% of your clients won't want to fill out this entire form, especially if they're leaving this site. And so you could potentially, if you're in growth mode and you want to get more leads, I would rather see that be a form like right here, that's smaller, a little more compact, that more people are going to actually fill out. But if you are in stability mode, you're not trying to grow a bunch. You're more into profits, you're trying to systematize things a lot more and focus on profitability. A form like this might be useful to just really know what people want. Obviously, you're charging for designs, which is great, etc. You really focus more on the hardscaping, landscaping side of things. So this might not be a bad thing because you're weeding out the tire kickers. So this might be a good strategy if you're not trying to do, you know, grow very fast. So having the longer the form, the more jumps they. More hurdles they have to jump through, the more friction you add to the sales process, you're going to reduce your growth. But if you're doing big, big projects, it might be a way to actually weed out customers. But ideally, if this is your brand, this little logo thing here, I think it's a flower. I'd try to integrate that into the picture here. Again, what makes you different than everybody else is a big factor here. It looks like these are tying into different photos or, sorry, different web pages that you've created about those different services. Again, pictures and videos should be about you. They should be about your brand. I know you're trying to tie in the ambiance of, like, these. These gardens and these flowers, but again, you got to recognize that what makes you different is your brand. And so, again, you got to ask yourself, if someone just popped in a different logo and changed the name of the company, would your site look like everybody else? If it does, that's when you should be afraid. Like these pictures for example. Could they just be popped out with any other? You could, right? So, so awesome. Oh no. Someone gave me $50. Uh oh, I better look at it. Someone gave me $50. Mercy goodness. We rebranded this year so I definitely need to update our photos to reflect the branding. What else do you recommend? Appreciate all you do. Okay. I don't know what site is yours, Mark? Oh man, I can't see it. There's a whole bunch of sites in here. I guess I'll have to do another one of these videos. I have to go. But yeah, there's a whole bunch of sites in here. Sorry.
Mark. Oh man. When is the next one of these? I will get on the next one. I need my P L handy. Yeah, I don't know when I'm gonna do this. It's rough. Okay, let's see here. We rebranded. Okay, what's this? We rebranded this year. So I definitely need. Sorry Mark, I don't see your site in here. Maybe you are. I already did it or something. But anyways, I appreciate the $50, I really do. So thanks all for hopping on here. If you want more information or you're interested in us building your site for you, you can check out longhairwebdesign.com again. I don't think it's for everybody. Don't waste your money on long careweb design.com if you are just getting started, you're not sure if you want to be in the industry. You don't have any employees. Like you don't need longcarewebdesign.com right now. You need to get a Google my business page. You get a free site off of Google sites or, or Weebly or Squarespace. You know, pay 20, $30 a month, that'd be just fine. It's all you need. Put some ads on Craigslist and Facebook, go into next door groups, share the message that you're in business. But if you really want to scale and grow your company and rank really well on SEO and have a really fast mobile friendly website that integrates really well and have unlimited changes for pictures and videos. As the season goes on, you change the pictures and videos. Then you definitely want to check out lawn care web design.com, mark gave us $50. We have to do this. HNS Utah hns utah.com h n s utah.com. all right, this is the last one. And I'm only doing this because mark gave me $50. I feel obligated. Okay, let me go and share the screen. Here we go. Here we go. Okay, here we go. Consultation. Whoa. Okay. Something's hidden here.
Pay. Okay. There's some sort of funky thing with your pay button. It's hidden behind this estimates. And then there's a pay button is behind the estimates thing. Anyways. Hanson and Sons. Is that what it says? Hanson and Sons. I'd probably recommend making your font a little bit bigger underneath the logo. That just means my recommendation. This pay button seems like it's probably something you've copied and pasted into your header. But it's on every single page. Yeah, it's on every maybe. Yeah, it is. It's right there. See the Pay now button? If I click on, it's gonna go Pay now button. Yeah. So you probably have put some sort of script from Yardbook into your header and it is creating that. This stuff, in my opinion, does not work. This Google rating thing, Facebook rating thing, this is old and literally this is just an image. Like people know you just copied and pasted this in. It might be 100% true, and that's fine, but it's just an image. Anyone can get this from anywhere, right? Like, you want things that are native as much as possible. So customers believe you. Okay. This is good. A lot of text in here.
This is cool. I really like how people do this. The before and afters. I've always loved these. These are great. I love them. Let's go trim them up. Let's. Yeah, I love it. That's pretty cool. I like those a lot. Those are always really cool. It'd be really cool. This is my. Is my take is if when they swiped it was a picture of you or like one of your crew members in the photo. So like every single time that they would switch to the after, it would show one of your trucks or one of your equipment. Again, showing your brand and not just like stripes or random photos that could literally just be anybody and any everybody and anybody. So again, I would tighten up your. Your. This pay button is interfering. It's going to slow your site down too because you have in your script of your header can be kind of not the greatest. So looks like you have a web developer sites for contractors dot com. I would definitely make sure this button is fixed in your header. Some of these images can be rasterized and made a little bit smaller. This background image is really just filler because it doesn't have anything to do with your brand, and it's just a darker image, and that's why it's been chosen. So you have white text over it, but just. It's just waste. Right. I'd be really trying my best to get that to be something of your brand. And this button is really not needed because you have the estimate request form here. And I would try to make this a little bit tighter of a form so it's not long and skinny like this. If you can bring it up a little bit, that'd be fine. Just make these text boxes a little bit thinner, and you'd be able to do that. So that way above the fold, they can see a little bit more of it. But overall, pretty good. I just want to see the brand. Like, if that logo right there is your brand, I want to see that on. On either trucks or uniforms. I want to see that tied in. The design of the site ideally would be great. So that's my only takeaways from that. But it looks like you got a developer. It looks like some. Some of the. Some of these things can be fixed pretty easily. But definitely get rid of this pay thing. This is in your scripts of your header of your site, and it's just muddling everything up, so. All right, let's see here. Thank you, everyone. I really appreciate it. Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. And thank you for the people who gave me money. I think I made, like, $80 on this. We're making millions. Check out longhairwebdesign. Com. You won't regret it, and I really appreciate all your support. Take care, everyone. We'll see you tomorrow.
