Short YouTube video conversation (Mike Andes and another speaker) about scheduling lawn mowing during rainy periods, especially in spring. Mike explains the practical limitation of waiting for a single sunny day and describes their approach: assign each customer a specific service day plus a one-day negative/backup based on weather to optimize routing and handle frequent rain.
I check the weather, it's rain. Because I don't know if the rain is not good for Cut the mow too. Right, right. Running. Yeah, because the soil is wet too. The good day come on the sunshine.
Day during spring rush. There might be times when it rains the entire week, and we can't promise that we're going to come only when it's sunshine. What we do is we tell a customer specific day plus our negative one day pl based upon the weather so we can optimize it slightly. But otherwise, if we tried to mow all of our customers on the one nice day of the week during spring when it's raining quite often, it'd be almost impossible.
