Mike Andes argues against buying a mini excavator for $50-60k, even at 0% interest. He pushes for using what you already have and running it into the ground instead of financing new equipment.

Mini excavator
0% interest
$50–$60,000
I literally don't want you to buy it.
Yeah, I'm going to hold off on it until I get some money in the bank. I'm going to fill out the finance information, get 0% interest, buy this little mini excavator.
We can't do that anymore. I only want to take a current asset and I just, like, just beat the thing into the ground by using it. Get allured by, like, okay, if I go, if I have one planting job with boxwoods, I've got to go buy a 50, $60,000 piece of equipment.
So I'd rather take that investment and buy that mini excavator. You know, I know some of you guys may disagree with me. I think it's a smart, smart move. Let me know in the comments if you disagree.
