Hey, everybody. Welcome to the studio here where we do our franchisee training. I record a lot of the podcasts. I want to talk to you a little bit today about. Oh, door's unlocked. I want to talk to you a little bit today about Landscape Summit, which is happening next week. If you haven't signed up, I really want you to come for, for the conference. It's all virtual, so there's no excuses this year about if there is snow or if you can't get your crews out in the field, whatever it might be. So we are preparing a bunch for Landscape Summit. We've had lots of meetings about it. I'm very much looking forward to being able to share lots of good information. We're going to talk a lot about P4P, about profit sharing, about open book management, culture, et cetera. So you can see lots of boxes. We've been preparing, sending things out. I'm gonna go ahead and pack one of the boxes today that is gonna be going out to one of the conference members. If you haven't already, make sure you sign up. Just go to landscapebusinesscourse.com conference. It's last minute. This is where we're actually gonna be recording a lot of the live event. So we'll have computers, everything set up, but this is kind of where it's gonna happen behind this screen. And then I have a whiteboard where I'll be doing some teaching in terms of numbers. Okay. Open Book management, how to do that without having to share how much you make, if that's something of concern to you. So this is kind of where a lot of the action is happening. Most of it is happening. And then a lot of it happened behind my computer. In terms of showing Excel spreadsheets, we're going to be creating a very detailed 2021, specifically looking at what you need to be spending in marketing to hit your goals in 2021, because there's a direct correlation there. So we're going to be talking a lot about that and I look forward to it. So make sure you sign up. A lot of people might be concerned, like, oh, I don't know if, you know, I'm gonna get the value or worth out of it. I promise you. Like, if you'd come to this conference and, you know, you come to all the virtual events and the live Q&As that we're gonna have and you're not happy and you think, you know what, it's not worth the $299 I spent. I'll give you your money back. I truly believe that the things that we talk about this coming weekend will change your business. It will change the way you treat your employees, the way that they look to you, the way that they're compensated, and the profitability of your company. So I'd really encourage you to come. I'm gonna go ahead and grab a box here and get some stuff together. We are sending out these boxes to all of the members coming, everyone that signed up as of last week. So we're gonna grab a shirt here, get a large, and we're gonna go ahead and get. Let's see here. Let's get a hat. It's got a nice white one here, one of these bad boys. I got some pens over there. We're gonna be sending these out to everyone that signed up as of last week. So you might have missed out on the swag, but I promise you, the swag is not where the value from the conference is gonna be at this year. We're talking a lot, even the first evening, about leadership in terms of what has changed in terms of COVID 19 and the things that it's done to our businesses in the labor market. Whether it be. I really believe 2021 for the landscape industry is going to be one of the best years we've ever had. The reason for that is because the housing economy has boomed and the values of so many people's real estate in their homes have increased so much, they're now looking at their home as an asset. They're looking at their home as an investment vehicle, and they want to take care of their property. And this past year, they might have made 50, $60,000 in equity on their home. And now they're looking at their home like, oh, this is a really good investment. I should make sure that I keep good care of it and preserve the value of my asset. And. And so I really feel like this is going to be a golden year for us in 2021 for the landscape industry. Here's some pens. I'm going to send these out to you guys. Some Augusta swag. So this is going to be coming out to whoever this is going to. Going to send out this hat here, little leather patch. My cousin actually makes these by hand, so shout out to her. So this is going to be going out to one of the conference attendees, but I promise you, like, next weekend, it's. It's gonna be Thursday evening, all of Friday, all of Saturday, and it's all Pacific Standard Time, so we don't start till 9am Pacific Standard Time which means you got all the way till noon if you're on the east coast to be able to get stuff done, get your day to day minutia operational stuff out of the way and then focus on your business. And we're gonna be. It's not like we don't talk about a bunch of fancy stuff. This is a lot of grind business material, numbers really looking at your P and L, really looking at the driving forces of your business. So if you're a landsc, if you own a lawn care business, I assure you this weekend can change your life. It can change your business and I really encourage you to sign up Today, go to landscapebusinesscourse.com conference. This is probably the last time you're gonna hear me talk about it. It's a week away from now and I promise you you will not regret it. And if you do, I'll refund you. So there's really nothing to lose. I'll see you there.
