Hey, everyone. Hope you're doing good. Sorry, I'm a little later than usual. I've had this open for the past hour and a half and have not been able to get started. So let's just jump in.
A couple announcements. Before we do that though, let me just copy this into. See Facebook.
Okay, Facebook. Bam.
Two things. One, Bryce is his videos gonna be going up here in a couple hours.
On the main channel. He was able to record for the past few weeks and probably a month or so. So shout out to Bryce for being vulnerable. It is not easy to stand in front of a camera and talk about all your insecurities, failures, weaknesses, troubles and issues you're having with your business. But it's very helpful too. I think not only the public, but I guess the nation to see that. So I really do appreciate it. This is the first of two videos I think we got for Bryce and then I think Logan, he has a couple videos we'll be able to make up here next couple weeks too. So thank you those who have submitted. I know it's not easy and you will get picked apart in the comments. That's fine. Everyone has an opinion and most people are wrong online, so don't worry about it. As long as your intention is to help other people and educate them and hopefully they prevent. You prevent some of the same hurdles for them. It's a net positive. So just don't read the comments if you're. If you're. If you're new to. Can be a little damaging. All right, next thing I know, Zach posted this in the Facebook group. You know what, Let me just copy it. If everyone listens. Could just do me a favor sometime today. It'd be very helpful if I can get.
Everyone to follow this link today and make a quick video and just review or testimonial. Augusta Nation. I need about 15 to see how the software puts this all together in a good format on mobile and desktop. Because what I want to do is use this for employees. This is the main thing. I want to have hundreds of videos and texts and everything coming together on a screen that we can use for onboarding employees at all of our locations across U.S. and Canada. And I want them to see that we're not just a local company as someone is getting started new, that there's opportunity, there's hundreds of other people. I want your employees to be able to talk about P4P about. I want your GMs to talk about how they got started with mowing a couple years ago. Now they're General managers, I need, I want all of that, but we need a test with at least 15 just to make sure that the design of these pages is exactly what we want before we, you know, try to get a hundred of them from all of our team members. So if you could do a favor, it doesn't have to be long, don't have to think about it a lot, don't have to be nice. I just need videos and I need user generated content to make sure this is working and before I pay up and get this for all of us to where we can have a great page for all of us to use for hiring. I really think this will be great. So please use it. I really don't care what you say. Even if it's 10 seconds, be like, whatever, just say something so I can get 15 videos in. Be very, very helpful. So thank you. I think there's a couple that did it last night. But please do this, the link I just posted and make sure it went to Facebook too.
Boom. Great.
Yeah, that'd be super helpful. We will probably use those eventually on the franchise site because we can, we can require potential applicants to Augusta Nation to watch those videos before a call with Lee. I'm trying to figure out as many filters as possible before someone talks to Lee because, you know, if one out of eight people actually become Augusta, that means seven out of eight, we're basically wasting Lee's time that we could filter out prior. So we're trying to filter out like fans, people that don't have the money, people that just want to talk to Lee. Like we're trying to weed all of that out, right? So we try to make more and more requirements now. And one of them, I could be like, hey, you got to watch all the testimonials from other franchisees prior to the call. So we'll use it for always for that. But more importantly, I just need 15. So if everyone watching this could just make me a video at some point today using that link, it'd be super beneficial because I will probably then work on next week creating an account that all of ours can go to from all of our employees. And it would show like where the state and province and city is. And then you'd be able to share that on your indeed ad, Craigslist ad, Facebook, whatever. And people will be able to see just all of these reviews of pay for performance of working at Augusta, being able to be a move up the chain, all that sort of thing. It's way better hearing it from an employee than you On a job ad talking about how much P4P is great and how much money they're going to make and their upper mobility and a 3F program and all the rest of it. If you are in the 3F program, I demand that you make a video because. Not this one. I mean on the next one when, when we talk about the employee page, it's extremely important.
Because that is going to help all of us get more team members. The three F program ones I will pro. This is why I kind of need a lot of videos. I want to make sure I can move certain ones at the top, I can categorize them, etc, because I want to put the 3F programs relatively high on that page. For when we have the link that you would post to your employee and applicant page, we'd put on the careers page, you'd want to put on all of your ads. But I need, I just need 15 or so to make sure I can do a lot of stuff on the back end. So I would very much appreciate it. That's all I have in terms of announcements. Yep. All right, let's jump into questions.
Okay.
Boom. Present.
Yeah, if, if you guys do it, I'd really appreciate it because I, I hope, I'm hoping next week we can get the launch for the employee side and then I'm going to also beg you to do the same thing with your employees. I just need to test this first, so please get that done. I will. Then next week, hopefully. Um, I want to get like at least 20 or 30 from all team members and we can, we can categorize them. I just need to test it. So I appreciate it. Connor from Evansville. Is there truly an ideal time to send our one clicks through the season? For example, last night was rainy and it's cloudy today. So while I have some admin time to the day, I thought it might be a perfect time to set a one click for mowing. Should we wait until tomorrow when it's supposed to be sunny? Or is my likelihood of a click really not that much different if the service is in demand? Regardless if the service is in high demand because of the spring rush, I think you, you go ahead and send it. Especially if you have like a day. You're like, man, I could knock out a whole bunch of drive bys or property cleanup estimates or whatever. I'd probably just go with that. If you're in spring rush, it's a little bit less time sensitive but cannot be overemphasized. Just how important a sunny day with a one click estimate email is the same way. Every door direct mail landing on a good.
Weather day is massive in terms of just overall retention, overall click through rate and.
Lead getting these all right Connor Evansville when it comes to door hangers we are giving the 39.59 pricing we currently require weekly. However with the door hangers I don't mind if they go bi weekly because they're in neighborhoods focusing on hence passing out door hangers will command give them the option of going bi weekly if they request it with the door hangers or no because my weekly weekly requires weekly until a certain point. Or can I say except for instant quote door hangers on the weekly requirement.
Because here's the challenge. If you see this on the estimate we're going to follow that, right? What I don't want you to do is put except for instance quote door hangers on the wiki but then in your drop down of mowing like your service it literally says.
Your mowing requirements. So if you don't have it on your estimate service standardization like description then I could, I would say yes you could go ahead and put in your wiki but I would not do that. You're going to get a hit and miss because you got one a wiki saying it's they're allowed to but in the estimate dropdown is literally saying.
That. So.
Liz will watch this and see if there's something that we could work out to make sure that this can happen. But I would personally recommend just sticking to one or the other.
Because if you let them do 59 if you let them do bi weekly now they're going to want next time next year they're going to want the same thing bi weekly. So I would recommend probably sticking to your guns on the the requirement of weekly. It's not so much about money, it's about the guy's P for P and scheduling during spring rush. I would recommend that. But if you wanted to Liz will see this and see if there's something we could do that we could with consistency make sure we deliver on that. But it's definitely going to you're going to hit miss if you have wiki having one saying one thing and then the service description saying another.
Nick from Nepen I'm thinking about requiring all my mowing clients to have a card on file. We're starting our mowing season on Monday. I'm wondering if you recommend doing this so so close to the season, during season, during the season or is it better to get assorted during the off season. I know you've mentioned in the past too, but I also like to charge to charge the cards at the end of every week if I get everyone's card on file. What are your thoughts on this and best processes process for transitioning everyone over without this causing administrative chaos.
You're running a little bit of a risk by doing this right before. What I would probably do is wait till the end of your first billing cycle, whether that's weekly or monthly. And then in that invoice, that's when you tell them. Because then you've already got over the hurdle of like initiating service for the growing season again. You've got that behind you. And now it's like.
Here'S your invoice. Oh, and by the way, we're now requiring cars and file. Please make sure you do this by the end of May. You could do that. I would probably do that. Do it with the invoice and then make sure there's a link like just change your invoice estimate for that one or two billing cycles that reminds them they need to do that and put a link to it. But do it after you've already initiated service for the year because if you send it now, you're going to get a lot of people, well, let's pause a few weeks. Let's wait till next month. Let's go ahead and cancel service.
All that other stuff. I just wait to the first invoice, send the invoice, have a link that obviously they go to the invoice. But then it's like, hey, you've got to update, make sure you have a card on file by the end of this date and then go for that. You could potentially just change your estimate automation or your automation too, that already is looking for people that don't have a card and file. There's already one in your account.
And you can just, you know, alter that or modify the dates, how often it's sending out and then change the verbiage potentially to be more like, hey, by the end of May. We're now requiring credit, credit cards on file.
All right, everyone, I apologize for having announcements on here the whole time. Those were questions. Have a great weekend and look forward to seeing you all Monday. Take care.
