Mike Minutes Mastermind (06/13/2022)

Mike Andes updates the team on a peer-to-peer handbook coming in pocket-print format, a 40-50 minute personal-finance video for training and hiring, and new marketplace templates for bush trimming and mulch cleanup launching later in the week.
Questions this video answers
Approximately 40–50 minutes.
Augusta Nation. Hope you're all doing super good. Let's go ahead and kick things off. It's Monday and I have a few things to go over. And then there was just one question, I think that popped in.
First off. Probably tomorrow, if not tomorrow, Wednesday we will have that P2P handbook completed. Zach has been killing it and working really hard on that last week. So it looks really, really good. I'm really looking forward to it. It's like a. To fit in their pocket. It's going to be where you can print it off any half by 11, fold it four times, staple it. So we'll give you a video on how to do that. But yeah, I'm really looking forward to making sure that we can get that out to everyone. Let me just go ahead and make sure this YouTube video is pasted in the comments for those that cannot see on.
Facebook. Very well. Give me one second here. One other thing, though, I wanted to share. Just post this YouTube.
I'm going to be making a video probably Fairly long, probably 40, 50 minutes long, and it's going to be for your employees, and it's going to be about personal finances. It's not going to be really about P4P. Like the handbook will address that. Let's be more or less talking about just their overall career growth, making money, personal finance, and just giving them perspective that you probably would like to say but don't have the time to put together the notes on. And also it's a third party that they don't have to deal with every single day. So coming from someone different than you, it'll be. They'll actually listen because they don't have to put up with the fact that they know all your intricacies. And so usually they won't. They don't usually listen to you as much about things like, you know, planning for mobility, planning for their career, planning for retirement, saving money, living on less, all of those sort of things. So I'm gonna make a video and then what we're going to do, I'm going to make it in a way it's just for obviously the employees of Augusta Nation. Then what I'm going to do, I'm going to make it a way, though, that we can use it as a way to attract talent. So we might, depending on how it goes, we'll see. I'm going to have to edit out some parts of it. We will probably end up putting it on the website and then we will probably. I'll probably post on my main channel, too. YouTube as a way to attract talent to all of our locations. There's at least 15 people, maybe even 20 now that I know of that have become employees at locations because of the main channel and they've seen stuff and they're like, I want to go work for this company and start my own location down the road or whatever. So I think we can use it as a talent magnet publicly, not only internally. So I'll probably make it this week. I'll send it out to everybody, you'll give it to your employees and then I'll probably leak it to the public after probably taking some parts out that's more just appropriate for guest the nation. So I'll probably show them around command center a little bit and then I'll just sit them down and talk about personal finance, how they should be thinking about money. And I'll probably do in a really organic way which is like literally with this computer, not in my studio. So it doesn't seem as like polished and it'll just seem more genuine. But you'll be able to say, hey look, here's the CEO of Augusta and he started it. You might want to watch this. He talks about how to make money and how to improve your wealth, et cetera. So I started thinking about this on the weekend and I sat down for literally three hours and took really a ton of notes of stuff I would like to say to them and everything from about wealth planning, you know, using their P4P dollars as a way to build wealth and then trying to live on their base pay, looking at, looking at their career in a different way in terms of not going after the next 50 cent raise but really trying to focus on how do I find a company and hopefully that's Augusta, but how do I find a company that I can actually grow my career in and not just focus on the next tiny little raise or someone giving, you know, they're closer to my house. So I'm going to switch jobs like thinking about that more as well as just running the math on retirement, running the math on becoming a millionaire and what the impact of, you know, that extra hundred dollars a week car payment or whatever it might be is on their long term wealth. So it'll be a good, good for our employees. I really believe that. And then obviously really focusing on pushing them towards like the audible program, self self development, improving themselves, et cetera. But then also it'll be a tool to say like, hey look, this is the type of thing that you can expect and if we put that on the hiring Application page. I think that separates us apart from like, literally 99% of employers that are just throwing up an application. It's like, hey, like, we actually send this type of training out to people. You can say, like, here's, you know, even in. In the initial email that you might send to an applicant that is coming in for an interview, hey, watch this video. This was made and this is the type of thing that we give to our employees. And we really want to see you succeed. And we don't want to see you mowing lawns for 20 years of your life. We want to actually see you move forward. And whether that be with us or with another company, that's the type of. That we stand for at Augusta. So I think it'll be a good. A good thing for all of our employees and a retention tool. But then going forward, I think it'll be a really good talent acquisition. And that is showing that publicly, like, hey, this is the type of thing that we're doing internally will be pretty impactful. So I'm looking forward to that. I'm going to try to work on that. If not today, tomorrow, and then later this week, we'll get it out to everyone. You can share with your employees. Just a link on YouTube. All right, there was one question came in. Let me go ahead and share my screen.
Boom. Boom. Yeah, right. Bloomington, is there a bush or shrub trimming? One click estimate that I Or one click estimate that I'm missing? If not, can we get one made? I attempted, but it looks very rough. Yeah. So this morning already on this, we are doing a mulch install and a bush trimming one. There are. They are in the marketplace, but they're. They're from last year. So we're making some new ones. So they are in there. I think it's on their. Probably property cleanups. I forget the exact term. It's a little bit hard in service autopilot to find old uploads to marketplace because just the way they have it formatted is like they only see three on a page and you got to get the exact search in terms of text. So those will be later this week, though. I'll have those up. It's gonna be for bush trimming one click estimate email, like a property cleanup one, I should say. And then there's gonna be one for.
Mulch installation. So those should be up later this week. And that'll be on for Zooper and for service autopilot. I'll make a video later this week with the orientation on how to get those sent out. So the, the, the one that we're making for the one click estimate email for bush trimming, though, is going to be property cleanups, and part of that will be bush trimming. So we'll kind of include all the different services that can be on in a property cleanup. And if you want to highlight the bush trimming, just make sure that's in the text. And I'll have templates for that later this week, so. All right. Well, it's Monday. Hope you all have a great week. And again, as always, feel free to fill out the form if you have any questions, and we'll see you tomorrow.
