Good morning, everyone. Hope you're doing super well. I apologize for being late. Was having a meeting with Liz and went over. Let's go ahead and jump in. Not too much on my plate this morning, but I did have an announcement for Zooper users. Next Wednesday, you're gonna get an email for an invite to a live call with Lonnie, and she's gonna be going over some of the things that they've been seeing a lot of deficiencies on in terms of people using the software. And obviously there's a lot of changes happening, but a lot of times when we see people saying, hey, this doesn't work, this doesn't work, we go back and it just. It is user error. So all Zooper users, you're gonna get an email. It's gonna be a live stream with Lonnie, and she's gonna go over some of the basics, slash some of the things that have been changed. You'll definitely want to be on there. All Zooper users will want to be on there. So it's something that we'll probably do next year more frequently as well. When. When there's new features coming out, there'll actually be a live stream where you go on there. Actually really just talk software with Command Center. But again, that's gonna be next Wednesday, 2pm Pacific Time, so 5pm Eastern Standard Time for the Zooper users. And you will get an email invitation to that live stream with Lonnie. She's gonna go over a lot of the common yellow flags that they're seeing in terms of.
Just putting in jobs incorrectly, invoicing incorrectly, things like that. So it's gonna be really, really beneficial. Even if you're a wizard at Zooper and you think you got it all, I'd definitely show up. There's gonna be something you learn. So they will send that out. Probably Friday, they'll send the invite out, and you'll probably hear from Liz as well. In terms of more information about that.
Ewing deal go through, we haven't. We don't have site one, but we do have a Ewing. It did go through. Did I not post that? I will make a note here. I will make sure I post exactly what was going on with that. I apologize for that. Ewing deal did go through. I know they were buttoning up a few more things in one of their regions, but I will talk to them today, confirm it 100% and then post for everyone. I apologize. I was kind of on the back burner, but I will bring that back to the front. Ewing. But, yeah, it's basically ready to go. We've already signed and everything. It's just a matter of getting them in their system. And they sounds like they have different systems for different regions. And so one of them they're having trouble with. But I will confirm it and then let everyone know, if not today, tomorrow. Thank you for the reminder. Let's go ahead and pop into the questions.
All right.
Got a question here for Max. Let me just change my screen. Max, have you had any luck encouraging clients to refer friends or family? I was thinking of saying I'm asking email to all active clients, asking them to refer someone they know to us.
I have never done this only because I feel like.
Two things. One, people refer people to the service that they're using, not because they care about their friends or family, but because it makes them look good. And so I would be more inclined. If you're gonna do an email like this, set it up in a way that makes them look good, make it easy for them to share. For example, can you forward this email too? That might be something. Instead of depending on them to read an email and then just talk in person to their friends, family, colleagues, et cetera, you might want to pitch it in a way where it's like, for this email, I feel like that would probably do better. But again, the reason that people.
Do referrals is not because they care about their friends or family. It's because it makes them look good and it validates their decision making process. And so just keep that in mind if you're going to do a referral, type email or any sort of blast or marketing or have a referral program. If you're going to do anything like that. Just remember, people do not refer in order to help the person that they're helping. They do it because it makes them look good. This is why you will sometimes have a good provider and you will not tell anyone about it because you are afraid that maybe they'll mess up. And you were just like, you know, sometimes people will not tell people because they think that, hey, if they get them, it'll dilute the service. But a lot of times, like I know specifically myself, I don't want to look bad to someone if I refer them to a real estate agent or an insurance agent and then that agent messes something up, it makes me look bad because I gave the referral. So keep that in mind if you're going to do a referral program. People do not give referrals to help the person they're referring to. You they are doing it to make themselves look good. So invalidate their decision because if they're referring you, that means they made the right decision by finding a provider. And they're basically, this is their chance to brag to someone else who's looking for a provider in that same arena and they're saying, hey, I made the right decision and I'm so awesome. So that is the actual truth. So that's all I got for you guys today. It was all the questions that came in. So we'll keep moving here through Wednesday. Great post Kevin Fairburn on the Facebook group about his patience. I 100% agree with that. I think a lot of times people.
They give up in the one to three year window and when the entire reason they started their business was for the 5 to 10 year window. And so you cannot judge today's performance based upon tomorrow's objectives. Right. So if you're, if your goal is I want a million dollar business, okay, great, that's your five to ten year plan. You have invest in real estate or have multiple locations, great, that's five, ten years down the road. Don't judge today based on year one and two upon what that goal is. Judge you in five, judge yourself in five to 10 years. Right. And so most people simply do not have the patience because there's that famous quote, I forget what it says, something like, people always overestimate what they can get done.
In like a year and then they underestimate how much they can get done in 10 years or something like that, whatever it is. But if you just dedicate yourself for five to 10 years to a business, there's a tremendous amount that can be done. But the thing is, years one and years two and three especially can get very wearing because it's still a long time, two or three months of not finding employees and struggling to find someone that wants to keep working. And that can be very, very straining. And for that reason, most people will give up and fail and never get to that 5 to 10 year marker where actual success is experienced. So awesome. Today I am signing for the Mount Vernon location, the actual closing of that deal. And so I will not be sharing a lot of those details publicly just because they nature of how we're doing the zoning on that property. But I will definitely be doing a breakdown probably in a couple weeks and show you all exactly what we did in terms of what we spent on gravel insulation, excavation, the Airbnb, the rental, and really show everything to all of you. I'll do some surface stuff, probably in the vlog, but expect in, like, two to three weeks, once we're moved in, I'll do something really just for all of us here at Augusta Nation, because a little more private, so. All right, everyone, take care. Have a great day, and we'll see you tomorrow.
