Recently, Gary Vee's content has really changed. Five years ago he talked about hustling, working hard.
Let me just clarify one thing. I'm not lucky. I worked. I worked every goddamn weekend at every holiday since I was 14 years old.
Recently really just talks about being happy, doing things that make you happy.
We have to change the conversation and make this about happiness and self awareness, not fucking.
Money, getting good sleep, work, life balance and all those things are fine and good. But I think that the successful entrepreneurs become influencers where they fail to realize and REM is what got them to be that successful. And that is the long nights, the hard work, the hustle. And so when they tell entrepreneurs now that they should just do things that they love, things that they enjoy, when they tell them that, it's like, no, what got you on that stage, what got you all of that money and that wealth and that power is working hard and that sacrifice is what got you all of the wealth that now everyone else is trying to emulate and you're telling them the exact opposite of the recipe that you used.
