Mike Andes loads a zero-turn mower into a Ram ProMaster 2500 van using $5,000 heavy-duty ramps that prevent deck and blade damage. The high-top design lets him stand upright while loading and keeps the ramp angle gentle. The ramps latch with padlocks to secure the mower overnight.
These super hardcore ramps cost $5,000 a pop, and we use them for our lawn care business to get a zero-turn mower in the back of these vans. These are Promaster 2500s, and we use the high-top version not only because it's really nice to not have to crouch down when we're on a zero-turn and standing on the back every single time, but also because I needed a long enough ramp so the incline of the ramp is not too steep. If it's too steep, the blades and the deck will scrape on the edge of the van every single time we put it in the back of the van. Also, these latches work great with padlocks to ensure the equipment stays safe overnight.
