Mike Andes walks through a demolition job that lost money due to mistakes, including incorrect wiring removal that ballooned costs. What looked profitable went sideways fast.
We just really had a $40,000 job because the systems weren't in place. Like, there were a lot of mistakes and we're probably going to be losing money on that job.
And so when the mistakes happen, is that us like damaging stuff on the property.
We lost in your tape?
So, for example, we're taking out a wall and wiring gets.
That's exactly what happens.
Wow.
You knew it.
This looks like so much fun. Take your brakes out that you're not supposed to.
You gotta make some of those wires. You're not supposed to. We. So we were removing all the wiring upst stairs and we weren't supposed to touch downstairs. So we had the guy send take progress videos and stuff every day. And he took it and he's like, yeah. And we're halfway with the wires downstairs. And I was like, if we didn't have to now replace all the electrical in the basement, like, we would have made really good money on it.
