SPENDING CHRISTMAS IN VEGAS

Brianna and Mike Andes spend Christmas in Vegas, hitting Hell's Kitchen and a Brazilian steakhouse, training at Strip Barbell gym, and checking out the Acquisition.com building. They share packing tips and prep for an Augusta Nation conference.
Chapters
Sam. All right, folks, I'm here at Office Max because today is the day that we start shipping out the copy and paste books that Mike sold throughout his live stream on Black Friday. So I literally just got Chat GPT plus just for this. Zach sent me a list of all the names and all the names of the people that ordered books that they want shipped to them. So I put it in Chat GPT how to analyze it and tell me how many people ordered one book, two book, three books, etc, and how many of what size of packages I needed. Let me tell you, agreeing to ChatGPT plus was worth every single bit because this makes my job so much easier. I'm gonna go pick up everything you need for this and start packaging. Good morning and happy Monday, you beautiful people. Is it a week later since the last clip me? Maybe, but we don't need to talk anymore about that. I'm about to head to the media team meeting today and then head to the gym immediately after that. So I'm gonna prep my pre workout. You know, one of my favorite sayings is do as I say, not as I do. In this case, probably don't do as I do because I did get a pre workout. I haven't taken pre workout in probably like two years or so. I don't really recommend it. The ingredients are not like, stellar here. But my. Surprisingly enough with my coach, I feel like the nutrition side is a breeze for me. Like, I can stay consistent with that. But my training, like, I just want to push harder and I sometimes I don't feel like if I don't have a pump or if it's just like a meh workout, like, I don't. I just want to push myself harder. And I feel like having a pump will be better minded muscle connection. Therefore, my workouts will be better logic. So I got the peach mango flavor of sebum. I tried like the tiniest watered down bit the other night because it was nighttime and I didn't want to, you know, be awake all night. And it tasted good even though it was watered down. So I'm excited to get the full effect of it. You know, I was thinking about this earlier. A full scoop is like, for your average human, right? Probably like five nine, male, female, whoever. I ain't that. I'm five one. So maybe I should do just like a little bit less than a full scoop. Like three, four, a scoop. Mmm. You know, good enough. It does have beta alanine in it, so, you know, probably gonna make me a little itchy, which is totally Fine. I don't know if you guys have ever experienced this, but the first time I ever took pre workout, my palms were so itchy, I felt like I wanted to scratch them off in my face too. Anyways, we'll see if this happens here. Definitely not good for you. Definitely not natural. Don't take pre workout. I'm taking pre workout. But you shouldn't. Okay, let's go to the meeting and hit the gym. We're going to Canada.
Pray for our saints. This time I did not bring my guns, so we should be able to cross the border.
We're not going to talk about what happened last time. What did we come to Lululemon for?
What's that?
Where did we come to Lululemon?
We came for orange shirts. And they don't have any orange shirts. Cuz I want one for homeworks. Well, I have a polo. I have a polo, but I do not have any T shirts that are orange.
We need the T shirt, folks. No luck.
This is the closest thing, but it's like a burnt orange maroon in the gym. So when I see people and they're like, ooh, guy's buff. He must be using homeworks.
Grow without breaking.
That's.
We are at our local regional airport. It has been so chill. Security was not that bad. There's literally like five gates at this airport. It is amazing. It is also Christmas, so belated. Merry Christmas whenever you're seeing this. Hope you guys had a great Christmas with your family. Guess where we're going.
Vegas.
We're going to Vegas, baby. I'm so excited. Going to be slightly warmer there. We're going to go to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. Hell's Kitchen. Going to be a good time. Let's go. It. Down there, You guys. We just came to the coolest gym called the Strip Barbell.
Hard to get inside.
Very hard to get inside. We were actually just let inside. Bless their hearts. But yeah, I paid. This is so cool. This is just a locker room for now. A little, you know, not as overwhelming. These are really cool. They're saunas. Just wait till you guys see the inside.
Yeah, it has like a touchpad here. You can do. You can do like.
Oh, it feels so nice in here. Are you serious?
I'm gonna stick in here for five minutes.
All right, I'll see you out.
See, I like that Junko. It's not too big. So you're walking around like, all the time.
That was the one of the coolest gyms ever.
Yeah.
I don't know if you saw over by the freeway. It's through the window. There's a podcast studio.
I saw that. But they didn't have microphones on.
No, but they had the microphone stands. I looked it up and you can rent it out for 100 bucks an hour.
$100 an hour.
But it's pretty cool because you have the bat like the background is a gym, you know? Anyways, very cool gym. One of my favorites that we've probably ever been to. Now we're gonna go to Brazilian steakhouse. Super sick gym. Highly recommend checking out the strip barbell. It actually started I chatgpt this, so I got all the history on this. The guy who owns it first started out doing like a crossfit gym and something else. And he started the strip with just like a single squat rack and a bench, and people started renting it by the hour to use it. So he just. Because it was like wasted. Our. Oh, wait, no, I think it was a room in one of his other locations. He started to rent out, and people, you know, obviously wanted it by the hour. And then he just decided to open up an elegiate gym, which it doesn't have any proper signage. It's just a piece of vinyl, which.
Is interesting, but they do a good job. It's clean old. It's all new equipment. Equipment that they do have is all like the updated models. Yeah, it was good. I really liked it.
Very lifter focused gym. Not like your run of the mill commercial.
Sometimes when you do lifters gym, it's a bunch of chalk, it's dirty, it's grungy, they don't take care of stuff. There's not good finishes. And even the fact they had the sauna and it was all clean. Super dope. Also, that evo is dope. I need one like that in burnt orange for homework. Brazilian steakhouse 101, number one. Come early. Lunch is $25 cheaper than dinner. They serve the exact same thing. Next. If you're new, don't fill up on the salad bar and all the free goodies that are cold. Their objective is to get you filled up on that stuff so you don't have filet mignon towards the end. Smart on their part, but we're looking for high value. All right, next. Excuse me, guys. Yes, please. Like some picanha, the whole special. So the next thing I've learned is I have all my cold stuff that I can eat anytime, like unlimited bacon, smoked salmon, and cheese with my sweet cheese.
Oh, we're okay. We don't need that.
Yeah, thank you. Yes. You don't feel a bunch potatoes? Don't feel pressured to get all the meat up front, because that happens. You get a pile of meat that it just sitting getting cold. We would do is have your cold stuff that you can fit in between the meats you really want, so when they come, eat them right away.
Well, folks, definitely went off meal plan here by far, but coach said we're going to start shredding after this trip. So she said to take advantage of the time that I'm here, and it was very, very enjoyable. We have Hell's Kitchen tonight, one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, which I'm so excited for. You want to share a hack?
Okay. All right. Another hack. Just get a vlog camera and take it in the public, and you get better service everywhere. No one knows you don't have any subscribers that matter.
Are they treating us better than anyone else in here?
100%.
How do you know that I deserve it?
Okay.
I didn't notice a difference, but, I mean, it's kind of true, though. Where were we? Where that actually happened? I don't know, but it's true. You can hardly hear me because it is so loud in here. But we're at Hell's Kitchen. So cool. That's where they shot the show, you know, red side, blue side. It's so cool.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Okay, so Brianna asked me to tell you all what I'm working on this weekend. So we have conference coming up in three weeks for Augusta Nation, and there's a few really big things we're launching. Unfortunately. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what they are. Oh, check this out. There's a gondola here. Check this out. Let's go. Okay, so conference is in three weeks. There's a couple things I'm working on, tying up all the loose ends for all the things that we're revealing and launching at conference for Augustination, and I can't tell you what they are. It's very sad, but there's a bunch of stuff we're launching, and I'm getting ready for that. Any other questions?
Banna, what has your experience been like here in Venice, Vegas so far?
I've been having a really good time with my wife. She's really nice person, and I love her a lot.
What did you think about your experience at Hell's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay?
It was about a five out of ten, maybe six. Six out of ten? Well, it's just high expectations. I would just say that, like, the food quality was the Bone marrow. Fantastic. Like, what we had last night was better by far. I would say six out of 10. The experience, the ambience, like the restaurant. Nine out of 10. But the food that I had was like, it was okay.
His main entree was not amazing, but.
Like, the bone marrow was amazing.
One of our appetizers was so good. Yeah. Can we take a moment to appreciate the fit that Michael has right now? Check it out, Check it out. Yeah.
Bana got me these for Christmas. These are my lululemon black pants. Yep.
I have the world's most attractive husband.
Yup.
This is so cool. It's like you're for real in Venice.
That's crazy.
You know what I'm saying? That sky is not the actual sky. It's pitch black outside right now. This is fake.
Oh, I really.
We took a little slow mooring. Just watch the sunrise because we can see it from our window. Check it out. We got a city view, folks. You can't really see right there. Is the sphere. Some backstory about that. I didn't know this until Michael educated me, but. But the sphere. How would you describe it? It's like a huge dome they play a 360 movie on, but they have to make movies specifically to be played on that thing. So they only get to play like, what, two different movies per year?
Well, like every. Like every month or two. Oh, right now the only thing playing there is the wizard of Oz.
That's not as bad, I guess. Yeah, we don't. We're not interested in the wizard of oz. You know, we like realistic things. So we didn't go. What's that?
We like the wheel deal.
We like the wheel deal. Today's our second to last day here in Vegas. We just were here from Christmas, like Thursday to Sunday, and we go home tomorrow. So today, what's on the agenda? As Mike said, workout usual. As Mike said on a story yesterday, the recipe for a perfect vacation for us is cool gyms to get a good workout in.
No, no, no.
You forgot. You forgot.
Sunrise work concession next to the window.
That's true. He did do that this morning.
Yeah.
Then I really vivy gym to have a good workout session in good food spots and good coffee shops to work in. Obviously we film like, the fun parts of it, but there are moments where, like, Michael has to log in and do the work, which is basically why we're here so we can get ready for conference. So you guys see about a fraction of what goes on behind the scenes. That's why we're Able to do these trips.
That's right. Bring it home to bacon.
Hell's Kitchen. Last night was so cool. I cannot believe Mike gave it the rating he did. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yeah, I know, but even that, even that, like, I thought the food was amazing. I understand where he came from. I did try a bite of what he had, and I kind of told him it almost reminded me like a pot roast you would just have from your mom's crackpot.
It was just like my. Like my dish. Yeah, it was good. Not great. But would I go again? Absolutely. You know, I'm open minded. I'm open minded. The fact that I probably chose the worst dish there.
No, it definitely wasn't the worst. It was still really good. And we had, like. The fact that we were even able to go was insane. I made that reservation, like, weeks in advance whenever we booked our flights. And, like, you need to do it that way because it was so packed. Like, even having the reservation, there was a long line and in the lobby. So I would 10 out of 10 do that again.
Also really enjoyed people watching.
Yeah, that was fun.
We love people watching.
We, like, whenever we go to restaurants, we like to look at other couples and kind of diagnose their situation. Like, are they married? First date, long term dating, on the brink of a divorce, on the brink of a breakup. Is it going to last? Age gaps. You know, we like to.
On their phone. Oh, yeah, that was an observation from last night. Was that the older the couple, the less they would look at the Their phone when there was gaps in the conversation.
You're right.
So they would. Instead, people watch. So people watching is great.
I definitely do that because I feel like the second you get on your phone, you kind of, like, shut yourself off a little bit.
We ain't got time for that.
And we don't got time for that. We don't do that. You got to shut yourself off to your partner.
Shut yourself off.
At least keep yourself open.
Throw myself off? Yeah.
This is how he acts. He's been productive, and he's happy. All right, enough yapping. Let's go work out. Leaving the gym on the way to a local coffee shop, Mike sees a Dutch bros and completely whips around in the middle of the road to go.
We don't have Dutch bros at home.
We have Dutch bros, But it's like 45 minutes away.
Yeah.
So he's getting his thing, and then I'll pay my rent at the coffee shop and get a matcha. What'd you get?
The golden ego.
Iced Duh.
Is the best in the whole wide world. I'm pretty good on this trip. Besides these coffees and the Celsius, those are my.
What do you mean? What do you. What's the threshold of good?
Pretty good.
You know, like what does good mean?
Meat. Carnivore. Ish. Basically, this gives me energy because I need it.
There's one happy.
Boy, it's really light. Ice.
Yeah, they did good. Check out all that caramel. Don't look at that bad.
That's my sins.
Sugar free. So it's okay, right? Right. Y' all see what we're looking at right now? Oh, not really. People might recognize that logo. It's acquisition dot com.
We need to see what the other building they bought Alex and Lea's headquarters across the street. I think that was a van.
That's cool.
They must have moved their sales team in there.
Hey folks. We were heading back to the car to head to the airport. Our time in Vegas was absolutely phenomenal. Obviously we're leaving clear blue skies. Probably to go home to cold and rainy weather, but totally fine. Anyways, thank you for watching. Hope you have a phenomenal Monday or whatever day you're watching this.
Howdy. Bye. Are we saying bye?
We're saying bye.
Bye.
Bye.
