Mike Andes shows how to make a brand stick with a visual hook. Augusta Lawn Care Services uses yellow trucks and a big dog. Music Mountain Compost uses pink buckets. A memorable image beats a forgettable name.
When it comes to branding and marketing, we want to create a brand that people remember and is memorable. And to do that, sometimes you got to stick out a little bit, whether it be having pink buckets or in the case of Augusta, we have yellow trucks. People don't remember the name Music Mountain Compost. They don't remember Augusta Lawn Care Services for Augusta. They're going to remember yellow trucks with a big dog on it, and that's what we're going to be memorable for. And so Music Mountain can have pink buckets or some other way of getting creative with sticking inside the mind of the customer.
