Mike Andes says opening a second location is harder than scaling beyond that. You need a strong general manager who can run the place consistently, plus a training program and good pay to attract them. A great GM makes great locations; a bad one tanks them.
The issue I kind of see is, like, once you nail one location, starting a second one is difficult. Yeah. Once you've done two, it's like the difference between two and 10 is not as much as going from one to two, because it's a matter like, if you can nail two and you have a really good program for training general managers, great compensation plan, like, everything hinges when it comes to secondary locations on your general manager. Solid general manager, solid location every single time. Bad general manager, bad location every single time.
