Even with one employee, your time compounds faster when you're not buried in paperwork.

Money shows up when you delegate the lowest leverage task, not when you work harder. I think of every home service business as sales, getting the work, operations, doing the work, and admin, getting paid for the work. And I believe that you actually want to delegate that from the lowest to highest leverage task. In other words, admin, answering the phone, doing email, lowest leverage task. You can get that done by someone for $20, $30 an hour. Operations, I can go make $80, $100 per hour. Why would I spend time doing a phone call or an email where I could pay someone $20 to $30 an hour to do it? High-leverage task is for me to focus on sales, getting more work. You do not need to focus on sales. You have one employee and yourself. You should still be focused mostly on operations, but to grow the business, you'll start slowly indexing.
