Hey, everyone. Mike Andes here, landscape business course. Wanted to check in with everyone today, do a live video of some Q and a. So if you got questions, post below in the comments below. If you're watching this afterwards, I'd love to hear what you're thinking about. Have any comments or questions, go ahead and post them. I'll try to get to them later. I'm here at the Bellingham shop here at Augusta Lawn Care in Bellingham, Washington. Little bit cloudy today. Fortunately, it's not raining and freezing cold like it was the other day. But if you have any questions, post them below. I'm gonna go in the office in just a minute. I'll answer anything I possibly can. You guys, a couple quick announcements while everyone's hopping on here. We got landscape Summit starting next Thursday, January 16, here in Bellingham. So it's eight days away. You got several spots available still, so make sure you sign up for landscape summit. It's $299, the best money you'll spend this year, in my opinion. Get your team on track. Bring your manager, bring your key employees. It's not full of a bunch of trade shows or, like, sponsors and things like that. This is just three days of solid business talk. We're gonna come right here to this shop. I'm gonna give you a tour of everything that we're doing. So, for example, right now, this office box here is off grid. These are our trailerless setups. We're actually setting up two new trailerless setups today. So I'll show you this. These are from. These trailer racks are from Green Touch. They're just being installed today. So on these two trucks, you're gonna see how we set those up and how we use those in our urban market. And so we're gonna do that tour. That's gonna be the Friday of next week. We're five buses over here to the shop, give you a tour, show you around the place, show you why we do a lot of the things we do. I would go in the back of the shop right there and show you where we keep all our materials for, like, hardscaping jobs and everything. But that's something we're gonna be talking about at the conference, is standardizing those materials in order to create efficiencies and how you can do that in your sales process so you don't have a bazillion different types of materials that you're always trying to source and install. So here in the office. And if you have any questions, go ahead and post them below. I'LL sit down here in just a second. Answer any of those. But again, we'll be coming through here and giving you the tour. It's Max or mascot. There. There it is. So if you have any questions, post below. This is Liz, by the way. Hi. Liz is going to be. She's gonna be also speaking on Saturday at Landscape Summit next week. Do you wanna kinda do a short description of what you're going to. Sure.
So I'm going to speak about focusing on the mission. So in the long spectrum of the business, you have the owner who is the originator of the business and then eventually the number two comes on. I'm going to talk about the transition of that over time of your different roles and your relationship in the business and as you move the owner out, all of those different types of things as well as the topic being focused on the mission, not so much the overall mission, but the boots on the ground every day, no matter what's going on between the two of you, to focus on the mission and what's happening with your crew and your team and your jobs for the day. So I hope it'll be helpful to you. We look forward to seeing all of you.
So Liz will be there the whole time at Landscape Summit. She's the office manager and operations manager here at the local shop in Bellingham for Augusta Lawn Care. You're also going to meet Lee, who is the estimator at Augusta Lawn Care here, as well as several of our staff that will be helping throughout the conference. So this is a great event to bring your staff to. If you have an operations manager, if you have an estimator, if you have a project manager that's a key employee, that is a great opportunity to bring them in into the business and really show them behind the scenes and get them on board with what you're trying to do in 2020 as you're trying to grow and scale up the company. This is a great opportunity to bring them in and see behind the scenes what the business really how it looks and see even locally our shop here. So any questions, go ahead and post below. Whoops. There you go. Cool. Any questions? I see all this are getting on right now, but if you have any questions let me know. But make sure you sign up for Landscape Summit. If you next week it's starting on Thursday. We get registration that is three to five o' clock on a Thursday. We start the first keynote at 5pm on Thursday and we'll run all the way through Saturday evening. Cool. Awesome. I will email you yes. Yes. Cool. All right. Well, I'm gonna go ahead and check out. I will get some of these questions that are coming in and reply to you guys. DM you guys. Otherwise, comment below, any questions below, and I will make sure I get in touch with you. Take care, everyone. We'll see you next week. Atlantic Summit.
