You might need to move on to a different business. If after two or three years of just grinding, hustling, putting extra work outside of work hours, and you don't get any recognition in terms of promotion, more money, more opportunity, you know, becoming a manager or anything like that, you might want to move on to a different company because that company might just not want to grow. The business owner might not want to expand the business, and there might not be enough opportunity at that location for you to actually succeed. And in that case, you should probably find a business that wants to grow. You can grow into the business and move up the organization and make more money, etc. If you want to get ahead, put in the extra work, and when you're off the clock, get ready for your next day. It is by far and away the thing that I look for in potential leaders and general managers.
