Transcript excerpt of a conversation between Mike Andes and Dave about plans to sell a cleaning business in two–three years, focusing on preparing by tracking customer satisfaction and shifting to a 1099-based workforce model with compensation charts to show incoming employees. The exchange is informal and planning-oriented.
How long do you want to before you want to sell it?
Two, three years from now?
Oh, you're going out?
Me and my brother wanted to, like, you know, sell the business, make some money, and then go do whatever else.
We want to measure the output of happy, satisfied customers.
And that's it? And that's it.
Let's just focus on we do 1099 and then we just show compensation charts for incoming employees.
Really what I'm asking Dave to do is for instant cleans, to get out of the cleaning business, the doing of the work. I want them to become a recruiting agency to go out and get 1089 and then match them up with a great lead funnel that is bringing in people that have short term rentals. I want to get out of the doing of the work and focus on sales and making sure I connect these 1099 contractors.
