A logger offers firewood as payment for cutting services, but the customer won't accept it. The speaker hoped to trade labor for wood, but the deal falls apart when firewood isn't treated as real currency.
So what I have is in Murphy, and the loggers came in and chopped down a bunch of trees. And they left everything that they couldn't sell. And I need it cut up into firewood. And ideally, what I was hoping to do was trade wood for the work. You could just run it by him and see if there's any possibility that he would be interested. And then I would know on that. Right. So he'd come out and saw it up. But he doesn't want to trade. He doesn't want firewood is what firewood equals money, if you know how to sell it or have a truck or whatever. Okay, I think we should just forget it.
