Short YouTube clip (uploaded by Mike Andes) containing a brief transcript of a confrontation between Mike Andes (lawn-care provider) and a customer about late payments. The provider explains they cannot wait weeks or months for invoices to be paid because they must cover fuel and weekly payroll; service is terminated.
We moved the property last year for you in November. It took us over a month to get paid. I won't be re signing you back up for lawn service.
You're fired.
I can't wait a month to get paid for lawn service each visit.
Yes, ma'. Am. I know I had some financial problems. I got really sick, and I apologize for that.
Enough is enough. Look, we understand life happens. But if someone consistently is paying their bills late, we just can't have you as a customer. We have to pay for fuel right away. And we have to pay our employees every single week. We can't wait two, three months to get invoices paid.
