A brief YouTube clip in which Mike Andes recounts an unusual lawn-care customer request: a woman called to confirm that her husband’s ex (who works in local lawn care) was not an employee of Mike’s company before hiring them. The scene includes a short dialogue illustrating the customer’s concern about potential conflict.
Some people think lawn care and landscaping is boring, but we get some crazy calls, and it keeps things interesting. This customer called in because she knew that her husband's ex worked in lawn care landscaping somewhere in the county. And before she hired us, she wanted to make sure it wasn't with us.
Do you have the employee's name or. I don't care. If there is a conflict of interest with those two people, and I know they do lawn care. Okay. They work for her brother's business and at my. My husband's.
Yeah. You don't need them there. No.
If you even knew. We've tried to be nice to them, and they are just not nice people, and I wouldn't trust them on our property.
