Why You Should NOT Become an Owner at Augusta Lawn Care [WARNING]

Mike Andes warns that Augusta Lawn Care isn't for owners who want to stay small or build their own systems. It's built for people ready to scale with pre-made sales and estimate tools, a Command Center that handles calls and invoicing, and franchisees like Audi Kieschnik and Tim Beck say the systems and culture are why they joined.

It's Mike Andes here and today I want to share about who should not join Augusta and who should. I get a lot of emails, direct messages on social media and people calling me and asking like, should I join Augusta? Is it the right thing for me? So let me just be really honest about who should join Augusta and who should not. Let's start off with who should not join Augusta. A couple different things. Number one, if you're just wanting to stay small, you don't really want to spend much on marketing, and you want to stay out in the field working, then definitely Augusta donation really isn't the best thing for you because a lot of things we talk about, the systems we implement, the advertising we talk about the procedures that we really talk about is trying to get the business owner, where you scale the business to the point where you have a team in place and you have systems in place that can run the business without you on a day to day level. Also, if you are really into like tinkering and trying to figure things out and you want to make new systems yourself, Augusta Nation might not be the best place for you because we have those things in place already. And trust me, I totally understand something like, you know, I want to figure out my own, I want my own brand, I want to create my own website, I want to create my own marketing, I want to do it myself. I totally understand that pride that comes with doing it all yourself from the ground up. Now, who is Augusta Nation really built for? It's built for the owner that really wants a scale their business, take it to the next level and really have the systems in place to have multiple locations, have the team in place that you can take a frontline employee, make them a general manager, or one day they own their own franchise because they learn the systems they learn pay for performance, they learn how we do the sales system and the estimate system. And at the end of the day, you're able to scale and grow your business because we're able to take things off of your plate. Like you don't have to worry about designing door hangers and postcards and your Facebook ads, videos and your YouTube videos and your Google Ads, or all of that is taken off your plate as being part of Augusta Nation and the franchise that we have. One of the things that we love so much about the franchise and about Augusta Nation is the fact that we're able to grow our business and focus on the two things that actually move the needle, which is sales and growing your team and developing that team and training that team, one of the things that allows that to happen is the system we're walking into right now, and that is Command Center. We're able to take your calls, send your estimates out for you, do all of your office work, emails, customer service, make sure that invoicing is done. All the rest of it, all the billing, we can take those things off your plate. That minutiae that's distracting you right now from growing your business so you can really scale your business and take it to the next level. I'm going to go ahead and show you a couple videos of some of the recent franchisees that come for training and what their experience was and why they joined Augusta Nation. I look forward to meeting you in person. You can book a call with me directly below. There's many, many reasons that we wanted to join Augusta, but the main one is it starts at the top. A lot of the things that Mike preaches about, you see it throughout the local company, you see it at command center, you see it across corporately and all the franchises. But Mike is the major selling point. And so just having a guy like that that knows what he's talking about, that can cut out a lot of the mistakes and the money lost. That's constantly crossing marketing. He's doing done for you ads, he's saving you a lot of time. And people here at Command center are super passionate about service autopilot, servicing the customer, talking on the phone. Some of the things that, like I don't get out of bed in the morning, like think about service autopilot and automations, but you do here and we can still excel at that, even if that's not something I'm good at.
I joined Augusta because I wanted to get back into the long Atlantic scheme industry and I want to be able to scale quickly. And I love the culture and the family atmosphere here at Augusta and what this company is doing overall. My name is Audi Kieschnik and my wife and I, we joined Augusta for the systems P4P and just opportunity to grow and help other people grow along with us and to build a team that changes the industry.
So my name's Tim Beck. I'm from the south hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I joined Augusta because the systems and everything in place that help establish a great business was really appealing to me. Coming from the oil and gas industry. Procedures and steps Standard operating practices. That's big. So I'm very familiar with it and it was very appealing to have that kind of going into it instead of going out on my own, making all the mistakes that a new business owner can make.
My name is Lujayne Abraham out of Franklin, Tennessee. I joined Augusta for the systems. I was very successful in my tree business and drainage business. But I can only get to a certain level with Augusta. I feel I can take that business beyond what I want to do.
Hi, I'm Tyler Koukl. I'm a new franchisee to Augusta. Some of the reasons I joined is first of all, the command center. I know being out in the field, it's a big hassle to be having to get back to customers and take up phone calls while you're out there. And hiring a full time office employee is a big hurdle to get over. And you got that taken care of with the command center. And then with Augusta, you get the framework of how to grow things. And I'm really ambitious and planning to take advantage of that for some quick end growth my location real fast. And I really believe in the mission of creating a professional business and treating employees and customers right. Really excited to get going here.
My name is Ryan Payne. We're from Texas. We chose to join the Augusta lawn care service to streamline our systems and procedures for our three locations and make sure they're all operating on the same page. We've also been implementing various ways of doing pay for performance over the years, and we hadn't quite got it to where we were fully happy with it. So we saw the benefit in reaching out and getting a system that's been in use for a couple of years. It's working well. It addressed a lot of the concerns that we've had in the past and our employees have brought up, especially when onboarding new hires and, you know, having an easy way to explain it without making it too complicated. Also to help with administrative tasks, full use of command center. Because we were running out of office space of our own to put people in to answer calls and use service autopilot. So we thought that'd be something we could utilize versus building a new building and investing all that money. It's easier to outsource it. They have it streamlined. It also helps when you pick up a lot of accounts at one time and you're super busy. You don't have time to train new office staff on how to use your phone system and how to use service autopilot. You know, they're constantly expanding their capabilities. So you can just worry about finding the clients and getting your close rate up and having someone else worry about taking the calls and getting them put in and making sure they're paid and billed, invoiced and notes are done for your cruise. And we've done it both ways. And looking back, you know, I wish this is something that was available when we started because we would have taken advantage of it much sooner.
