At Augusta Lawn Care, we train owners when they're starting out from nothing sometimes. And I've seen some owners within a matter of 2 or 3 weeks immediately be generating $60,000, $70,000 in monthly revenue, having jobs pouring in left and right. While the exact same owner starting from the exact same training goes out and takes a year or two to duplicate that same success and have several crews and 5 or 6 employees. What's the difference? One of them focused mostly on sales from day one. The other one, the one that took slower, started trying to manipulate and try to think think about every little detail of business and where everything was going to be stored inside the storage unit and exactly how the trucks were going to be parked and exactly how we were going to fold the uniforms. And look, I understand organization, but organizing till death do us come, like you cannot grow a business through defense.
