Short transcript excerpt from the YouTube video 'You Guys Seem Like Nice People But...' (uploaded by Mike Andes). The clip captures a customer expressing dissatisfaction with quoted prices and a promised scheduling delay, followed by Mike Andes defending the company’s pricing and explaining the 2–3 week booking window due to high demand.
I'm not. I'm not. I'm not.
No way I'm paying for this. This is outrageously unprofessional. The prices that are quoted are outrageous. You guys seem like nice people to let me know. And then when I speak to someone, whoever this guy is, the owner, whoever, for him to tell me that there's a delay. No. Unacceptable.
It's always amazing to me how customers can say we're unprofessional and super expensive when they actually have never had us do work for them. They've just received a quote. This customer received the estimate and. And then asked when we get the services done. Two and a half weeks we were booked out, and then she was gonna get on the schedule and she thought that was unacceptable, that we should be there tomorrow if she accepts the estimate. The reason we're two, three weeks booked out is because we're not super expensive and plenty of people want to use our services. And if you aren't gonna be one of them, that's fine. Just move on. Find another contractor that can do it cheaper for you, and we'll see how that works out for you.
