Mike Andes tells a pressure-washing business owner worried about their low-ticket model to stop second-guessing. With 105 jobs already booked, they should scale what works instead of chasing expensive remodels. The path to $50 million isn't switching industries, it's doubling down.
I guess my worry is, am I in the wrong industry and do I need to stop putting so much gas into all this? And if maybe I'm just wasting my time with such a low-ticket item industry.
Well, you sold 105 jobs for pressure washing. How many remodels and new builds have you sold? Zilch. I think I'm gonna say, right? So like, yes, to make $50 million revenue, which is an arbitrary number, we have to sell less new builds and remodels.
Your progress on the way to $50 million is infinitely better pressure washing.
And so doing more and better of what you're currently doing will get you there, in my opinion, much better because you have what 99% of people don't have, and that is traction, and to just build on top of that.
