After Mike Domitrz's talk, an audience member admits to past poor choices and commits to change. Domitrz emphasizes that confronting your shortcomings and aligning your actions with who you actually are is where real transformation begins.
A really powerful moment when I'm done speaking is when I've had somebody come up to me and say, Mike, I've done some of the things you talked about today that are not the right choices, and I realized today that's not who I am. I don't ever want to do that again. I'm going to change my life. That is so powerful because that's somebody being willing to look in the mirror and say, I need to grow. I want to grow because it's who I am. And seeing that they can change their course going forward. It's really, really powerful.
