Is being a little rude necessary to be respected? I saw a post claiming you have to be a little rude so people know you won't put up with nonsense. It's just flat out wrong. Look, declaring your boundaries has nothing to do with being rude. Rude is an attitude, and it usually runs on disrespect for others. Rolling of the eyes, mocking another person. If you want students to gain these essential skills around respect and their boundaries, follow me here, or even better, reach out. Let's talk about bringing me to speak at your schools.
