I do not like campaigns that say, like, consent is sexy. Because it doesn't matter whether it's sexy. It's required. That's the truth. Now, we want to make it fun by handling it the right way. So how do you define consent? Ready? Here we go. It is mutually wanted. That means I do not talk you into it. You do not talk me into it. It is mutually wanted. It is specific. So if I say, can I kiss you? And you say, yes, my hands don't get to roam wherever they want to roam. That's not what you just agreed to. It's in the moment. Some of your shirts say it's ongoing. Same exact concept as in the moment. In the moment means that if I say yes right now, that does not mean you're ever getting a yes again. It also means this yes might be for this moment only. All right? Super important. Which means— this is critically important— it's free to be removed. Which means the moment you or your partner says stop, what must happen? Stop. It must stop.
