There's no such thing as peer pressure. It does not exist. It never has. And here's how I'll prove it. Let's say those 2 people's names were Jesse and Aaron. Jesse was the one I don't like. Aaron was the one I like. They both said the same words to me, no difference in pressure. I didn't listen to the one at all because I didn't want to be like them. I didn't want them to like me. And I didn't care about being accepted by them. The second one, I wanted to either be like them, I wanted them to like me, or I wanted to be accepted by them, or all 3. I didn't want to be like them. Who was applying the pressure, them or me? You have never faced peer pressure. You have faced a ton of self-pressure to be liked, to be like, or to be accepted. How many agree if we're really honest right now, that is 99% of what you call peer pressure is me wanting to be liked or to be like them or to be accepted by? If you agree that is 99%, just say yes, it is. Yes, it is. Subscribe, follow, join us at centerforrespect.com.
