Is our world good at respecting the answer? No. I'll prove it to you. Ready? You say no to a partner to sexual intimacy. Do most partners go, okay, glad I asked? Or do they ask you one of two words? What are the one or two words they're going to ask you if you say no? Why? Whoa. How scary is that? Nobody pulled you into a classroom and taught you that. And by the way, I do this in middle schools and high schools. And middle schoolers, 13-year-olds, 13-year-olds give the same answer. How scary is that? So you've been taught from a young age that if you say no to someone sexually, not only will you not be respected, your answer will be challenged and questioned. Look, if you ever say no to someone and they say, why not? What should be your response back? Because I said so. Because I said so. You do not owe a why. No is a complete sentence.
