When someone hurts you, you don't owe them closure, a response, or acceptance of their apology. Seeking or granting closure is your choice alone, not an obligation. Trying to control how someone else processes harm is inappropriate.

If you ghost somebody because they've harmed you, you don't owe them closure when they've harmed you. How many agree? If you do something to truly harm me, I don't owe you a response. Now, we might not like not getting the response, but I have to understand I caused that. That makes sense? Say, makes sense. It does make sense. Do I wish you could have closure for both of you? I do, but it's not going to happen. By the way, if your friend says, I'm sorry, does that mean that you're going to accept it all the time? No. Well, I apologized. Yeah, but it's up to them whether they accept it or not. You're trying to control their response. That is not okay.
