Kosta Ouzas argues that successful trading requires rigorous risk management and mathematical strategy design, not just bots. He focuses on position sizing, capital reserves for dollar-cost averaging through downtrends, and engineering deployment plans that follow power law principles.

When the algorithm gets it right, no defense needed, we just simply enter a trade and take profit. So in order to be successful with this, it really comes down to risk management. Right? What's the, what's the position, size of the initial position and then how do you have enough reserves to engineer a strategy that can DCA you all the way down to the power law? And that's what the consulting side of what we do. This is why I guess a lot of times people, you know a bot, a bot is like, it's not really the right word because the idea people have a bot is like I'm going to give you something and you can just plug it in and run it. But there's so much that goes into the actual engineering of the strategy beyond the take profits and all that. But how much capital do we deploy into these positions? That's the mathematics has to be so sound.
