Kosta Ouzas explains why his trading algorithm failed and why Giovanni's work matters. He describes flying a plane without landing gear, and stresses that traders need to understand the power law and its statistical boundary.
We were writing an algorithm. I guess it was kind of like flying a plane without any of the landing gear. And then I came across the work of Giovanni. If he's not convincing enough, I don't know who is. And what happens is. This is what happened is that he hasn't discussed so much yet. The power of support. But to us as traders, the most important thing about what the power law gives us is this line at the very, very bottom. This line is a statistical place where the Christ doesn't go.
