Kosta Ouzas explains why trading systems fail when you push them past their limits. A trader claiming 30% weekly returns hit a 99% drawdown. The real move is growing your capital base so profits become math, not luck.

The priority is always the same. Use systems that actually work, respect their limits, and let capital catch up over time. Once the capital is there, the income becomes a math problem, not a gamble. And I'm telling you this from experience. I had a guy come up to me at a conference who told me he could make 30% a week, and when I checked on him a few weeks later, he was in a 99% drawdown. So if you accept that the math is real, and you accept that forcing a trading system to do more than it's designed to do will eventually break it, the question becomes very simple. How do you grow the capital base without blowing yourself up in the process? Because if you don't have the capital today, the solution isn't more leverage, more trades, or more risk. The solution is putting yourself in a position where your capital can grow before you ever try to extract that income from it.
