A first-person YouTube monologue in which the speaker describes moving from Los Angeles to Mexico 17 years ago while penniless and building an off-grid life in the jungle. The speaker emphasizes self-sufficiency (own electricity, water from a cenote, waste systems), improved safety and internet via Starlink, and invites viewers to follow for a detailed story of challenges and how they made it happen.
When I moved to Mexico 17 years ago from Los Angeles, I was broke as f I was bankrupt. The only thing I had was my clothes in a suitcase, my blender and my knives, and picked up and left, you know, and so many people ask me, you know, how did you do it? You know, aren't you scared? No, not at all. I feel more safe here than I did in Los Angeles. And now I've built my paradise here, deep in the jungle. It's pure heaven. And I'm off grid. I produce all my own electricity now. I've got my own water system right here behind me. It's a cenote. It's an underground water cave. I have a Starlink dish, so I have WI fi. Better than in the city. I have to manage my own shit, so I have my own waste systems. Living the dream. So if you're interested in learning how I did it, follow me. I'll be sharing the story, all the details, the bullshit I had to deal with, you know, how I made this shit happen. It's so awesome.
