Alright, let’s get into it—because y’all have questions.

Misty Tripoli answers viewer questions about living alone in the jungle. Her dreadlocks are real, worn for 20 years. She's been stung by scorpions twice, once waking with one in her hair, and regularly sees jaguars, tarantulas, and scorpions nearby.

I'm just preparing dinner. I thought I would clarify a few things that people keep asking me about living alone in the jungle and my life here and all the crazy that happens. Number one, yes, this is my real hair. I've had it for 20 years. I dreadlocked my hair way back in the day when I had my very powerful awakening, decided not to do things like everybody else and I didn't want to do my hair anymore. So I dreadlocked it. And it's great because I don't have to do it anymore. Another thing everyone's asking me or commenting is my ginormous forehead. I'm absolutely aware I have a ginormous forehead. I don't call it a forehead. I call it an eight head. And I also like to say, you know, big head, big brains. So, yeah, I think it's what makes me spectacular. I have a giant cranium. What else? My jewelry. Pretty much all of my jewelry comes from artists that I find on the street. Everything here was made by an artist. And that's why I love to support local artists. I have an artist that comes and paints my murals for me. Yes, there are bugs, there are critters, there are snakes, there's scorpions, there's tarantulas, there's jaguars, there's all of that. And I don't care. Have been stung by a scorpion once. But that was my fault because I was trying to stomp on it and step on it with flip flops on and that little tail whipped around and got me. One day I did wake up with the scorpion in my hair. That was some crazy. Yeah, about my pants. Yeah. And my glasses. Yeah, they're dope. But you know what? I get them on Amazon. They're super cheap. I buy them in a three pack for $15. Yep. I get them in all different colors. Yeah. Nothing fancy. And I'm not about fancy stuff. I make my house fancy. But my clothes, I don't spend a lot of money on. My jewelry I don't spend a lot of money on. I like to keep simple. I'd rather invest it in my home. Seriously. And my dogs. Mosquitoes really aren't a problem. I thought it was going to be a problem when I moved here too, and it wasn't. Yes, I'm a libra. Si, yo hablo espanol. I speak Spanish. Mostly masomenos. Sufficiente. No, I do not have children. No, I'm not interested in having a relationship.
