A short YouTube video by Misty Tripoli describing a ceremony performed with a local Mayan shaman to ask permission from the land and its spirits for building and guardianship. The speaker explains that after the ceremony (performed four years prior) she feels protected, safe, and blessed on the land, calling it her home and heaven.
Today is a special day because it's a day that we are having our official ceremony with a local Mayan shaman to ask permission from the land and the spirits of the land to do construction and to be here and to be the guardians of this land.
And ever since I did that ceremony four years ago, I have always felt safe on my land. There is nothing here that wants to harm me. I am totally protected and live in absolute peace. This is my home. This is my heaven. And I feel so blessed to be here.
