Short monologue by a speaker describing living in the jungle and using a fruit dryer to preserve store-bought fruits (pineapple, banana, coconut, mango). The speaker explains a simple workflow—cut away brown spots, slice thin, oil sheets with coconut oil, space pieces for airflow, and dry for about 1.5 days—to produce sweet, candy-like dried fruit used as a cooking-avoidance snack.

Living in the jungle and being far away from groceries and stuff like that. I will buy fruits, the ones I don't grow here. But it's hard for me to eat an entire pineapple by myself before it goes bad. So what I do is I got a fruit dryer, and I dry all my. I dried the bananas, I dried the pineapple, I dried the coconut. I don't love doing it. I love the byproduct of it. It's like cooking. I'm not a fan of cooking, but I love the byproduct. Delicious food. So this is what I do. So, like, this pineapple starting to go bad. So before it gets too bad, I cut all the brown spots off, and then I lubricate my sheets with some organic coconut oil and then throw them in the dryer for, like, a day and a half. And the byproduct is amazing. Yeah. So do a little looby looby. And I just stick my fingers in there and do a little. I mean, you're the only one at your house eating your things. You can kind of live by different rules. Okay. So I cut it kind of thin and then just into little chunks and lay them out. That's all I. That's all I do. Oh, my God, that's so juicy. Okay. That's the little process. The byproduct is candy. Literal candy. When these things dry up. It is. It is. Oh, my God. When I'm not in the mood to cook, I'll just snack on this all day long. You gotta space it so there's air in between everything, you know, so the air can circulate and dry it. I said I don't have a lot of technique. Yes. I need to be careful with knives. Great thing is, I've never cut myself. Mm, that's good. Mm. And then I do the bananas. Sometimes I do the mangoes. Just slice them up and spread them out. Yeah. Ah. So here's the result after a day. Look at this. It's candy. So good. Great way to preserve food. But the bananas aren't done yet. Almost. They're still too sticky. They'll need till tomorrow. But that's candy, too.
