If you feel yourself or find yourself trying to live up to other people's expectations, trying to impress other people, I say impress yourself. What does that look like, to impress yourself every day? That was a shift that happened for me in my own thinking. When I was so in debt and I was at the end of my rope, I was like, who am I trying to impress? Who do I am? Like, when I go to bed at night, am I happy that they're all impressed or am I happy that I'm happy? Everything shifted and to change that every day I want to impress myself. What do I have to do today to impress myself? Impressing myself means I'm being authentic. I'm tuning in. I'm taking care of myself. I'm being kind. I am doing what I want to do, not what everybody else wants me to do and owning my life and taking responsibility for it.
