Stop tolerating less than you deserve.

Misty Tripoli left her relationship and job, risked bankruptcy, and built her dream home by refusing to tolerate less. She argues that your life is shaped by what you accept, and that authenticity and courage matter more than comfort.

You know, so many people ask me how I turned my passion for dance into a global movement. How I went from bankrupt to building my dream home in the jungle, you know, living my, like, my fucking dream life. And it wasn't because it was handed to me on a fucking silver platter. It's because I made the tough choices. I ended the relationship. I quit the job. I did those things, not having a clue what I was gonna do or Annette to catch me. I just took off, like, having no idea how it was gonna turn out. But I knew I couldn't continue to live the life that I was living because it was too fucking painful. And it was not in alignment with who I truly was. And if my life was gonna continue like that, I would have rather been dead. So I had to. It was like life or death, literally. And so I chose life. And it wasn't easy. I can't say it wasn't fun. Parts of it were a fucking blast. But I got my ass handed to me several times. But you know what? It's still better than living that old life knowing that I'm moving forward, that I'm fighting for myself, that I am fighting for my dreams and what I want to experience and who I want to be and what kind of life I want to live. I put my big girl panties on and did it. And I'm not different, more special than you. We are the same. You and me. We're the same. It's just about making different choices. You may have to get to the point where it's so painful that you're like, I can't. Or, you can do it before it's going to get to that point of pain. Your life is your responsibility. It's all about your choices, how you choose to see the world, how you choose, and what you tolerate in your life. Jesus. Your life is what you tolerate, what you allow. What are you allowing? What are you tolerating? That needs to fucking end now. You can do hard things. You can fucking do hard things. You're a badass. So am I. And if you want to be a boss bitch of your life, stand up for yourself. Stand up for your joy. Stand up for your authenticity. Because when you start living a truly authentic life, I will tell you what fucking magic comes out your ass.
