What is spirituality?

Misty Tripoli argues spirituality isn't about following rituals but about living as a spirit in a body. Everything you do can be spiritual if it's authentic and comes from you, not from someone else's rules about the right way.

So something really interesting that hit me the other day was I was going through the comments on one of my posts, happened to be the post of when I had the ceremony to bless my land, and someone made a comment that said, oh, finally you're doing something spiritual and interesting that really, like. I was like, what? Everything I do is spiritual. Life is spiritual. Everything. So you're a spirit in a body, so everything. You are spiritual. And that's the thing about spirituality. There is no right or wrong way to express your spirituality, your spirit. There's no right or wrong way to do that. And that was something that dawned on me a long time ago when I was starting to become aware of myself and that I was copying everyone else, that I was doing things like everybody else and, you know, other people's spiritual practices, other, you know, other people's ways of doing things, thinking that that was the way to be spiritual. But I woke up to the fact that I was like, no, I'm. My whole life is spiritual. My life is my spiritual practice. And it may look irreverent to some people. It may look like, what, this girl's got a foul mouth, you know, and have your idea or judgment of what spirituality looks like. So to all of you out there thinking that there's one form of spirituality, wake up. Every one of us are spiritual. And how you choose to express your spirituality is divine, perfect, amazing. And the more that you tap in to your authenticity, your creativity, your, you know, your essence, you will feel your spirituality. You will feel the spirit move through you. So, yeah, do it your way. I'm spiritual as fuck, and I think you might be too.
