How To Make A Decision You Won't Regret Later

Not choosing is itself a choice that hands control to circumstances. Three bestsellers on success devote chapters to decision-making because the skill strengthens through practice. Start with small daily choices: what tea to buy, where to sit. Each outcome teaches you something.
Chapters
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins, and The 21 Success Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires by Brian Tracy. What do all 3 of these books have in common? Every single one of them has an entire chapter dedicated to the importance of making a decision. And if you stick with me to to the end of this video, you're not only gonna learn why it's important to make a decision, but you're also gonna learn how you can make decisions even if you consider yourself indecisive. So first things first, why is it important to make a decision? Well, I think it's pretty obvious that the decisions we make shape our reality. The thing I don't think is all that obvious is that by not making a decision, you are effectively still making a decision. So let me explain. Let's say you have two options, one of them being option A, and then you have option B, right? If you take option A, you're going to go down a certain path. If you take option B, you're going to go down a different path. But here's the thing: if you don't make a decision and you don't choose either option, you're going to go down another path. Let's call it option C. But guess what? You have zero control over over where you're going because you didn't make the decision. That sounds terribly disempowering to me. So if you wanna create the life of your dreams, if you wanna create a life by design, then you've got to get good at making decisions. Now, if you're anything like me, you probably get stressed out or anxious because you don't wanna make the wrong decision. Which, by the way, if that's you, leave a comment below. Just say, "That's me." And if you just left a comment below, I've got a really helpful quote for you. In any moment of decision, The best thing you can do is the right thing. The next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing. This is a really helpful lens for making decisions. If you make the right decision, great! If you make the wrong decision, that's also fine. All you need to do is learn the lesson and move on. Either way, you're gonna be closer to achieving your goals. Just keep in mind that the one decision that will not move you any closer to achieving your goals is making no decision at all. Now, I promised you that I would show you how to make decisions even if you think you are indecisive. And here's the secret: making decisions is a muscle, and it's no different than training these muscles at the gym, right? You've got to practice. You've got to do the work. You've got to do the exercises. So here's what I have for you. I want you to start developing these muscles by making decisions with the little things. So I'm talking about things like which brand of tea you buy at the grocery store, what you order off the menu when you go out to eat with your friends, or even where you decide to sit at a coffee shop. If you make the right choices, great. If you make the wrong choices, who cares? Learn the lesson, move on, and be better next time. And just know that with every one of these small decisions that you make, quickly, you are developing a muscle, the decision-making muscle, and this is an essential one for success in life and in business.
