What's up guys, welcome back to my YouTube channel. Today I'm gonna share with you one simple strategy that I use to overcome self-doubt. I'm willing to bet that you've heard the quote before, "Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will." And you know what, there's a lot of truth to that because the reality is we've all got demons. We've all got fears. We've all got that little voice inside of our head that says, you can't do it. You're not good enough. You're not smart enough. Who are you to whatever? You're not pretty enough. Insert XYZ doubt here. And guess what? You have got to learn how to silence that inner critic, to shut up that voice, and you've got to learn to focus your mind on positivity and optimism and belief. And you've got to learn to shut that self-doubt down. Because if you don't, your dreams are at stake. So how do you do that? How do you go from all those self-doubts and the what-ifs and the fears and all that stuff to positivity, to optimism, to belief, to thinking of ideas, thinking about all the possibilities? How do you do that? How do you shut that voice down and change it to what you want it to be? One simple tip for you today, guys. One simple tip. Audiobooks. We live in 2019, which is an absolutely amazing time because guess what? Just about any dream that you have, any goal that you have, I can guarantee you there's a book about it, there's a podcast about it, somebody has already done it. There's someone successful out there who you can learn from, right? When you read a book, it's almost like you're getting mentorship. From somebody who's already done it, right? Or have you heard the quote, "You're the average of the 5 people you hang out with most," right? When you read a book, it's almost like you're hanging out with that person. You're changing your sphere of influence. You're getting ideas from them. You're tapping into their mindset. You're tapping into, you know, what success looks like, and you're just, you're changing your brainwaves into positivity, right? So if you ever find yourself into negativity land and into the doubts and the fears and the what-ifs and paralyzed, try this out, right? There's this wonderful app on your phone called Audible. You can download that and you can literally have it— it reads books to you. Or if you don't want to pay for books on Audible, then you can download a podcast and you can listen to that during your daily routine when you're driving to work, when you're making breakfast, when you're doing laundry, when you're prepping meals for the week, you can simply just have positivity in your ears all the time. So that is my one tip for you, and it's a strategy that I use all the time when I hear these doubts coming up for myself. I listen to something positive. I put an audiobook on. Try that out. Let me know how it works for you. And if you found this video helpful, subscribe to my YouTube channel. New videos every single Wednesday.
