In this monologue, the speaker explains that in crowded coaching markets—using fitness coaching as an example—prospective clients don’t hire a coach for the standard diet or workout prescriptions they already know. The speaker shares a personal story of paying $5,000 for a fitness coach, emphasizing that the decision was driven by alignment of beliefs, standards, lifestyle, and demonstrated results rather than the coach’s technical program. The coach’s online presence showcased her values, how she operates, and the outcomes she enjoys in health, relationships, and business, which resonated with the speaker. The core takeaway is that coaches in saturated niches should create content that reveals their personal beliefs, standards, daily operations, and tangible results, because that is what convinces high‑ticket clients to invest.

If you're in a more saturated coaching niche, the reason that people are going to pay you is probably not what you think. So for example, if you're in a fitness coaching niche, I mean, you know this if you're in fitness, there are a lot of you. People out there have a lot of options to choose from. So why are they going to choose you? Well, I can tell you what it's not. I can tell you the reasons that they're not going to choose you. Like, I just hired a fitness coach recently. It was 5K, and you know, for fitness coaching offers, like, that's like probably a little higher ticket for higher ticket, you know. Anyways, obviously I did this because I had a goal that I wanted to hit, and there's many people— do you know how many fitness coaches I know? Do you know how many fitness coaches I coach? Right? Like, there's a million people I could have hired for that. I had a lot of options. And many of them would have not been $5K. So why did I invest $5K with this person? Well, I'll tell you what it wasn't. It wasn't because she was gonna put me on 1,800 calories and tell me to hit 120 grams of protein and hit my steps and drink some water and make sure that I go to sleep. Right? Which, guess what? That is what she's telling me to do. And I got— I knew that's what they were going to tell me to do. Like, I'm not born yesterday, right? It's like, I've coached fitness, I've been through this a million times. The reason that I chose her, honestly, I'm gonna even take a pause to think about this for a minute. It's actually because— and I don't even know her that well, but just from her online presence, we kind of knew each other in person a little bit here and there, we're like acquaintances, we're light acquaintances. But even without knowing her super well, I like her. I like what she stands for. I like how she operates. I like how she moves through the world. I like how she thinks. I like how she plays big. We have similar beliefs. We operate in similar ways. She has the results that I want in my life. In relationships, in health and fitness, in business. I can get behind a person like that. Now, how do I know about those things? Well, because she shares her beliefs, she shares her standards, she shares how she operates in her daily content. And that is the reason that I paid her $5,000. And so if you are in a saturated coaching niche and you are not creating content around those types of things, maybe you should start. And that's all I got. I hope this was helpful.
