So I got this question the other day in my DMs asking why I moved to Florida and basically just saying like, why did you move to Florida? What's different than Canada on a 5-year timeline? Um, and like, isn't your business virtual? And my answer to that is, this is what's different, bro. You see that? That's what's different. Okay, all jokes aside, I mean, that is, to be fair, one of the reasons that I moved because I hate the winter., and I hate having to relocate myself every 6 months because I hate the winter. But the other reason, and the biggest reason, it's honestly one word. It's environment. One of the easiest ways to get where you are trying to go faster is simply to change your environment. Think about this for a second. Let's say you want to lose weight, but on your counter every single time you walk by, you see a chip bag. You think it's going to be easier or harder for you to lose weight with that chip bag staring at you every 5 seconds? It's gonna be harder, right? Yeah, what's doing that? What's making it harder? It's your fucking environment. And so that's why the move. I made this move because I want to play a bigger game. And one of the easiest ways to do that is simply get around people who are playing a bigger game. I don't want to feel like the odd one out at home anymore. I don't want to feel like, you know, people look at me like I got 7 heads when I tell them what I do. I was in the elevator at this building and the first person that I asked, I was like, hey man, like I heard him in the coworking space talking, he sounded like he was in sales or something. I was like, hey, are you in sales? He's like, no. 'But I run a marketing agency and we do this, this e-commerce stuff.' And I was like, 'Wow, someone else who does something similar to what I do. I don't feel like an alien anymore.' Even just outside, just outside down the street, just walking around out there, the number of, I would say, nice cars that drive by me just like every 5 seconds is insane. Lambos, Porsches, Ferraris, like, uh, Corvettes, whatever. People playing a bigger game. Now I will say, as a side note, there's a degree of that that I hope doesn't rub off on me, and I'm gonna actively try to not have rub off on me, which is like, I think people can get a little flexy sometimes and a little pretentious. And like, I'm not really about that vibe, but I am after people who are playing a bigger game in business and really want to grow. And that one word, environment, is the reason that I went through so much time, energy, money, chaos to get here. It's why I'm probably going to like, I'm probably going to owe Canada like a $300,000 tax bill when I leave, like exit tax. It's why I invest like 10 grand every month on mentors and masterminds and coaches and blah blah. Environment. Who you surround yourself with. That shit rubs off on you. So that's why the move.
