Morgan Gillis made $1,000 a month coaching while working as a waiter because he treated it like a hobby, not a business. He invested in a mentor and a course, shifted his mindset, and grew to $20,000 a month. He sees the struggle as necessary to help others do the same.
I went from making $1,000 a month to making $20,000 a month with my business, right? Which was insane for me because I was waiting tables at the time to pay bills. I was a broke coach for a long time. I didn't have the character traits. I didn't take risks. I didn't hire any mentors. I also was treating my business like a hobby, not like truly like a business. Eventually I finally got like a coach. I got a mentor. I bought a course. I put skin in the game and I figured it out. This is gonna sound kind of weird, but it felt a little bit like dharma. Like it felt a little bit like, oh, you were supposed to go through that struggle so that you would know it so that you could help people with it.
